Has anyone ever won the WDC and come third in the constructors...?
I was halfway writing that exact post! I can't remember any.

Too little too late in terms of the championship? We can only hope the rules continue to be applied that way going forward.
It will make the racing a LOT more fun to watch

And yet is still significantly further ahead in the standings.Sainz until this year hasn't been WDC material though. It's also more that Leclerc has been underwhelming this year.
Many more years to comeToo little too late in terms of the championship?
I guess all we can wish for is that Max’s frustration boils over and he DNFs or something. Lando out scoring him by 12 points every remaining race is extremely unlikely. If the stewards are consistent with the penalties and Max continues to be Mad Max , maybe?
They need to bring back drive through and stop&go penalties too I think. A 5/10 second penalty doesn't seem to hurt much when you've managed to gain or keep position.
I’d imagine because they could see him causing a serious accident in the very near future after driving like an utter **** for the second weekend in a row.Max has been doing this for ages. Why this race did the stewards decide to deal with it properly I wonder.
Just noticed this, the disrespect is unreal from a rookie.
Nope. Perez was behind him. What is up with that. This guy seems angry and is trying a bit too hard to make an impression? Stubbornly lost his front wing and came in last as well in the end I think?
