**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Mine will hit 62C running Civ 5 @4.0ghz LOL

Sorry about high jacking your thread

Back with 3dmark11 when I get time I want to use my spare graphics card to run on my other PCs to see how it compares graphics score wise across different platforms.

62c running Civ 5 @ 4.0GHz.... are you sure the H100 is mounted correctly?
I get that temperature in BF3 @ 4.5GHz (3930K) using the Phanteks behemoth heatsink. The H100 is a lot better than the Phanteks.

Civ V is very very CPU demanding, BF3 not so much except in huge displays.

Regardless, i only hit 70-72c in Prime 95, with a H100 i would expect mid 60's. Is Civ5 that CPU heavy?
In fact, i could find out myself since i bought it ages ago on the cheap, must give that game a go! :)

I've only had it running for a day, give me a chance to squeeze it more:D

Happy to have a simple 4.7Ghz without even trying, will be happy with 4.8-4.9

Running Prime95 @4.0ghz I get temps in the low 50s. As gregster said Civ5 is very CPU intensive, probably more so on the huge maps that I use late in the game. The system also has to deal with the GPUs producing as much if not more heat than they do in BF3.

If anyone really wants to stress test their system give Civ5 a go (huge map, late in the game) I have seen it bring some pretty good systems to their knees.

I am a big fan of Civ V and play the big maps. It realy does push the CPU to the max and I don't care :D
