**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

I fried my 680 trying to push my graphic score :(. I should have listened to warnings. Oh well, live and learn I suppose.

You've all been very busy lol. Nice gfx scores by the way chaps @ pgi947, Gregster & 8pack. Also well done on the 7970 stomping that is happening AMD'ers :D.

Hopefully will be back for a few more benches soon.

7950 Rusty . I hope you're going to be taking advantage of Tri-Def 3D gaming?. I've done a fair bit of reading and it seems a waste to not give it a try if you end up staying with the 7950s. How are you finding them so far or is it too early to tell?.

Miles off of the top 7950 with similar clocks. No idea :D.

Getting there and not a bad starting score :)

Mate, not good. Happens and RMA will help :) I finally got my 680s under water and so much easier to smash them up. 8 Pack cheats with his cascade cooling, so he doesn't count ;p

hehe sorry mate I was just having a laugh. My PCI-E slots are too close (http://i.imgur.com/2xqn2.jpg) so I've went and bought a 3770k and new motherboard. They arrive with 2133Mhz RAM and the VG278H tomorrow :D. My cables you see hanging are just the PCI-E cables and will be routed through the back tomorrow.

I managed this with SLI.

Only at 1350Mhz roughly I think. I benched 3dMark about 2 times and then took the card out as it was burning. If I stayed at moderate clocks, yes I think I'd have survived but I'd have just been better getting reference 680s so stumped up the extra money for a new CPU.

Oooh nice. What are the temps like at crazy overclocks with Artmoney added voltages?. I agree, 8Pack should have a cascade section and let him be the one and only ruler (evil) :D. I might go water after Christmas as I think it would be a waste not too. Saying that, I'm already thinking of moving back to AMD in January to experience Tri-Def 3D. I'm going to see what experience I prefer and stick with it for the year (2013-14).

Neither card has gone above 50C under water and the same for the VRMs/Memory. I am well impressed with the EK blocks :)

I love the switch case but my biggest hate with all cases is the right hand side of the cases room. I have cable tidied all my cables at the back but it still requires a firm grip to hold it in place while I put the thumb screws in.

I look forward to your results when you have the new CPU in and get them under water bro...It is a must and easy :)

Edit:

I hit 25K GPU score without any artifacting...I could have gone higher but seeing 1150 watts being pulled at the wall scared the crap outta me :D

Your rig, is, beautiful  my precious (Smeagle). Mine is a dusty mess at the moment from leaving my side panel off. I don't dust as often as I should :D. I'm really impressed with how it looks mate. Great job. As for the temps, well it looks like I'll be getting water then but it will have to wait till January after having to get a new CPU, Motherboard and RAM. I can survive until then with better PCI-E spacing as right now it's a joke :D. I even have to take the plastic shroud and reactor core thing off to fit it in.

It might be tough for to hide the cables as well as you do, but it's well worth it as that photo is lovely.

Thank you mate, I'll get clocking asap and get my new scores submitted. I hope I get my package early and get most of the day to play with the 3D. Have you manually set convergence in BF3?. If so what values have you ran?. Any information at all before I get started would be appreciated.

25K!, sweet score. Shame about artifacts. Did you up the voltage or was that you at the max you'd go?. You've really scared me too :(. I've only got a 750Watt PSU. It's gold standard but 1150w erm?.

Nope. For better 5760*1080 performance. I can't use AMD cards with 3D on my monitors but I'm not too bothered as I barely used it anyway.

Dose this look ok

2500k @4.8
+170 core
+600 mem

For a GTX 680 it looks fine.

If you compare your result to the ones in the table at the front use the graphics scores as this takes the CPUs out of it.

Edit if you post a link to your result in 3dmark11 gregster will put you in the table.

Slightly off topic but have any GTX 680 owners had a go on the heaven thread lately. I did a run with a single GTX 690 using 306.23 drivers on the 1920*1080 setting and was only 5 points short of 4000.

Someone with 2 * GTX 680s could do a lot better and worry the 7970s over there.

Cheers JD. I came from a Asrock board to a RIVF and the spacing on both for PCI-E is great. Cables are not my strong point but no excuse with a switch case :)

As for 3D, I just enable 3D vision and go. I dont fiddle with anything else. I found 3D in SP to work well but I got owned trying to use 3D in MP. Personaly I love it and it did get me back to gaming as I was so bored of any game tbh.

I blew up my first 1050W PSU by getting some Dye into it when the bridge for the lower card leaked. I realised dye had gone in so took the psu out and wrapped it in a towell in the airing cupboard for a couple of days. I should have left it a week but my impatience got the better of me and tried it with juust a fan connect outside the case and smoke followed by a pop...Arghhhhhh :D £170 down the swanny. I was running on my 750 Bronze with no problems at all in SLI. I was showing 800 at times from the wall with a small overclock on the cards, so I just ran them at stock and left the CPU at 4.6. You should be fine with the Gold rating on yours.

I tried it and hate it. It is such a long bench, I get to 25/26 with a flying score and crash out. A nightmare :(

@rubin

Go through your history and grab the link to that 3Dmark score and I will add to the list bro :)

Thats the part with the highest fps so if its going to crash out thats the spot.

I found the 306.23 drivers work very well with a single gtx 690 if nvidia could get them to work as well with 2 gtx 690s the red team on the heaven thread would be in serious trouble.:D

Now AMD are putting more effort into their drivers perhaps nvidia could do the same for multi GPUs.
