**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Ok so a wee update on my score...

Score

Graphics Score

Intel i7 930 @ 3.8Ghz
GTX 670 @ 1009Mhz Core 1074Mhz Boost Mem 3206Mhz (6412Mhz effective?)
GPU OC on stock volts on a stock Inno 3D

Seems decent?

A little low if I am honest. Have you tried overclocking it much? Looking at other graphics scores, you should be hitting around 9500 with a decent overclock.

Cheers mate, one question though...card power to full? Just curious how that works? simply more behind your oc to keep it stable?

That is the power target is for telling the computer how much more power to use. for example, if you set it to 110%, it will use 10% more of your PSU power. This also links into the Boost and if the card can boost higher, it will and will use 10% more PSU power (I am rubbish at explaining things and hope this makes sense?)

I always threw mine at max.

Just another note, put your GPU fans to max whilst benching. This is noisy but helps keep the card from down clocking should it reach 70C

Sorry to keep you busy Gregster

Im pleased with this one as I have been trying for 6 months to get the better of an American guy on the 3dmark11 boards with a similar setup to me and have just managed it by a few points.

Nice one Kaap. Great scaling across 4 GPUs as well :)

Hey I made the gfx list:) I'm just shy 200 something points to make single gpu 3dmark11 top 50. With a little tweak I could make it.

Get it done. I don't want to see any 680 users dragging their heals :p

Thanks guys

What made the difference last night was something you recommend when ocing GTX 680s.

In the past running the fans at 100% would cause my rig to crash, it was better to leave the fans on auto. Having swapped my cards around I thought I would try again with the fans at 100% and bingo it worked.

Thanks Gregster.:D

Glad I had some good advice :) It used to wind me up with the EVGA in SLI. The fps would be soaring and I could see the temp touching 70C and knowing I was about to start losing score (very minimal but enough to make a difference).

For some reason and I have no clue as to why, The stronger card in the top seems to carry the slower bottom card. Maybe it is a priority thing? I have my strongest card in the lower slot but with it being a water cooled system, it is not something I am prepared to bother over.

Nice ^ :)

Very nice :)

Are you going to see if you can go higher.

When you get a minute please could you update my single GTX 690 score in post 2157.

Thanks

Cheers guys and scores added/updated :) I am as far as will allow Kaap. I can give more volts and temps stay good but it just won't go further. The same goes for single cards.

Getting ranked 29 on the HWbot is very impressive as the cards above you probably have some exotic cooling/tweaking or live on a benchtop.

When I build a PC I only really follow one rule and that is - It must function as a normal everyday machine. That means it boots up in seconds, does not have any exotic cooling that takes ages to set up, and only needs one PSU for example.

If you can do the above and get to no 29 like you have, that is as good as it gets. I suspect if some of the guys at the top of that chart tried to do something like play a game or anything else useful on their rigs they would be lucky to get them to run for more than a couple of minutes.

Very good points and there is only a couple of water cooled cards above me and the rest are LN2. You have lifted my shoulders a little higher cheers Kaap :)

Nick, I need the link bro please :) (3dmark11 link) check your web history.

This is my everyday gaming PC and does what I want it to :)

Edit:

No probs Nick, I could see the link in the webpage :)

when i oc'ed cpu left mem at default 1600 and i struggle to get to 4.8 without nail biting voltage, so just put it at its rated speed(2400) plus upped the bclk to 101 hoping that it might speed up gpu a notch.
My temps on cpu and gpu considering the voltage being input are great, just wish i had better chips to make use of the cooling i have. maybe next time:(

edit:thx greg

oh and thx for updating but cpu is 4.75

I put the CPU scores to the closest nick (keeps the chart tidy). Yours showed 4.746 so I go to the nearest.

I assume you have your GPUs under water because the fan speed is greyed out?

Very nice score btw :)

135th on Vantage though, lol.
You should start a Vantage thread. Everyone can bench easy now because it's on Steam! No reason not to download and play (same with 3D11)

Sounds like a plan and a good idea. Great to do some benching when we have some spare time :)

Same format as this one.

Done :)

Cheers, and I know - I hate it, just need a few mins to tidy it up :P

Cheers mate just realised my earlier post was higher

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=23143608&postcount=2170

where are the fan speeds greyed out (am i being thick . blind ?)? - They are on the stock air cooling mate :)

It is my eyes...It looks like the fan was lighter but on closer inspection, it isn't :D I thought you had them under water already :)

Just awesome bud, well done woot woot:D

Thanks Nick. :)

Is 1.3 the max on all cards Dave?

I will update in the morning as I am on my stupid rubbish about to get thrown iPhone at work.
