Well...you've got 3k+ extra on physics, that's all from HT.
Turn off windows aero, that should give you a few extra points.

What voltage are you using for 4.6?

1.27 ish. I can't get it stable in SLI above 4.5 Ghz though. It spazzes out on the Physics part.

Need to read a lot more about the settings.

4.5 is stable at 1.25. In progress testing less voltage. I think 4.5 Ghz will be my 24/7 clock around 1.22 probably. I don't have the CPU cooler to run higher 24/7. Temps were over 85c earlier which although not worrying on its own, is still far from ideal.

Paste must be bonding and spreading. Idle temperatues have dropped 7c since I started. Now idling around 34c.

Dunno :confused:, different ram setup 4 x 2gb for me and 2 x 4gb for you, Z68 over P67 perhaps? Different ram timings etc? Diminishing returns perhaps?
Ill run it a few times tomorrow to investigate.
 
Ah i didnt know u had a P67 board.. maybe thats it combined with the RAM but now u got me wondering if SSD performance has any impact on benchmarking.

If it was just a couple of hundred i wudnt have questioned it but over 600 seems a lot.

I just ordered another Samsung 830 which is coming tomorrow.. gona slap all my games and benchmark apps on there along with Adobe. I'll see if having 3DMark11 on a seperate SSD from the OS has any effect on results :)

I did have a new score

CPU was at 4.75ghz with 1.25 strap, memory @ 2000mhz @ 9 9 9 21

It didn't add to compare are a couple of hangs chuffed the password up on 3dmark login.

It's 30c in here now and I will try again later
 
Haha bottom floor flat in Aberdeen, at least I win something in this thread :p

21c out today, around 18c ambient in my pc room, iirc during the winter I was idling at around 14c
