You've missed my new single card score mate.

Post no 826

Too much playing in surround me thinks :)

 New leader and I can't believe I forgot. I noticed it yesterday but so wrapped up, I forgot to edit. Sorry bud and fantastic score :)

No probs mate new toys and all.:)

Too late, your already thinking about it.
Its just a matter of time :D

I jest but probably will after chrimbo. No chance this year as the good lady has put her foot down :(

Haswell maybe?

I will.

Ivybridge is just 'meh'. I upgraded as I was able to sell my CPU/motherboard and have the Ivy/Z77 upgrade cost only £100 which is not too bad.

Worthy upgrade for you. I will swap out my mobo and CPU to my Wifes comp which has an older E chip and an 8800GT. I will give her some spiel about facebook is going to be very CPU dependant and an I5 will be needed :D

I am very pleased with that if I am honest. It has certainly helped putting the Lightning at the top slot with the EVGA underneath. The Lightning is an awsome card and it is the EVGA bombing out and holding it back. It was clocking comfortably at +182 and 452

That puts me to 4th in the SLI GFX scores. Nvidia winning this bench :) Heaven schmeven :D

Nice one mate. Much better SLI score.

My reference holds me back as well although probably now as much as yours does.

My Windforce can bench at 1305/+500 on its own on a good day (i.e. a cold one!) and my reference can do 1275/+450.

So to do an SLI run I have to really set them to be the same for maximum stability and I run 1275/+450 on both. That was my 23300 score from memory.

Its good to see your getting over 22000 :D

With heaven 3.0 it would be interesting to see a run on you setup with the following settings going up against 2 HD 7970s in crossfire

Tessellation Extreme
Anisotropy x16
AA x8

Using the above @1600p I can beat out the HD 7970 trifire setups.

Fist go at overclocking the new cards

I spent some time trying to overclock my card today and this was the best it could come up with.
The memory went up +600 on stock voltage
The core went up +100 and needed a little voltage

Not sure if it's my cpu bottlenecking but if I went any higher with the clocks the graphics score went down instead of up. The card is has 3 voltage settings but the only one that made a difference was the core so the others were left on stock.

Nice boost Imginy. Almost 10K which is real good. I found with the 680's, the sweet spot was 450 for the mem and any higher (on either card) didn't improve scores much and sometimes even decreased scores. Maybe the VRM's are getting too hot and scaling back.
