Guys, got my 290x and crossfired it with my 290. Sorry to say Gregster but i dont THINK ill be able to match my 290 with this one, but ill do my best once ive put the block on it!

Anyways, with these cards at 1100/1400 and the CPU at 4.4, RAM at 2400, everything FLIES, Metro LL 4x SSAA? No problem!

First time crossfire, so if anyone got any protips, tell me!

1. Disable ULPS via afterburner.
2. Check this thread to setup gpu overlays.
3. Play.

Nice score. I think im bottlenecked a bit with 290 xdma crossfire on pci-e 2.0 x8 x8. I will run a comparison later to see how much my gpu score differs from yours.

i found that flashing my 290x to a 290 would let it clock higher, thus beating itself lol

Interesting. I've not tried messing about with bios flashing so far. I'm not too bothered about benching now but i will have another quick bash when my new PSU arrives and i can overclock without the pc shutting off.

Gotta say i love R9 290 crossfire so far, amazing scaling. And none of these stuttering or driver issues.

Both my "Smug Titans" are under water, so thought I would give them a bench. Pretty save voltages at 1.25v and not prepared to give it some just yet but you never know

@Gregster, my 290x is flashed to a 290P. It let me clock it higher thus getting more performance.

So its just a 290 crossfire , not 290x + 290p.

Notice Elpida and Hynix to distinguish the cards.
