Taking it slowly - besides +500 would give me 9000, don't think so.

I initially made the mistake with my TX but no, MSI AB works off of 2 segments and you start out at 3500Mhz if I recall so upping by 500Mhz means you are at 2x4000=8000 effective.

Try testing with Heaven and look at the top right corner (it shows 3500 at stock) or on the MSI AB graphs for mem clocks.

did wonder if I had it wrong - but GPU-Z shows I am at memory of 1845 with +200, so working on that 2000 is effective 8000(x4) which means I need to add another 155 to the 200, but I get the feeling it does not quite work that way? What am I missing here?

If your not running the latest version, GPU-Z will give you incorrect readings.

Managed to push my GPU score a bit further, oddly enough with the stock bios this time. Haven't been able to reach these clocks before so either Nvidia have worked some magic with a driver update or simply the lower card temps have improved it considerably.

Memory would crash before I reached 3900 before.

Really need a quicker CPU to get any higher really and I cba swapping from this at the moment. Doesn't beat my overall previous score of 13662

He's suspended

I wouldn't worry anyway as soon as he's back I'll have beaten your score

:p

Hi Silent,

Give me a brief moment of glory at least - knew full well it wouldn't last, but not bad though :D

How is yours doing?
Fitted the backplate to mine as well as the block, and temps not gone past 48 yet.
