I had to quit WAR because of character lag in pvp. So far theres no lag (apart from IP problem other day) and its loads better than WAR (imo).
Very personal choice of course. But in my opinion, yes. It wont be to everyones tastes though.
EDIT : Whoops...just thought..it might not be clear whether I am saying Yes to it being worth playing, or Yes to it being another WAR hehehe.. I mean Yes to it being worth playing

maybe they are adding more servers or increasing the population cap or something
this was right before the servers went down
Thats in a starter area in 1 channel i checked a few other channels and they was all the same, there msut be at least a few thousand people afking.

Can't blame the AFKers, I did it. Wanted to go afk for an hour to go make some food/eat without having to come back to a god knows how long queue.
However, all the times I play I've never had a queue, logged in around 1pm today and there wasn't one.
Edit: However many of you should know, most asian mmo's have these shop type systems and are far worse than what you see here and run fine.

I do really like the shop system its a good way to sell stuff when your afk for a hour or so, but when peopel are afking when they are are going to work school or sleeping its wrong and it spoils the game for others. These peopel who are doing this will be the same ones bitching cause the servers went down.

True, true, however overnight I made 14k from selling mats, (from 2k) so I could come back to being actually able to train some more skills and have enough to teleport somewhere. I left the handy tip to sellers to shift r-click to split stacks of items, better to sell that way as most people don't know this. I know it's not much, but for me at level 12 it's a small help. Meaning I didn't have to faff about when I wanted to /actually/ play
Also just found the auction house (temple of gold for asmo in pandaemonium) which I guess is the better/alternative to real-time shops. All they need is some global price averages so we don't have to keep searching manually.
Ps. What is it with people listing stupidly high prices, so others don't buy that item, therefor keeping shops open so they don't log out?

they they will usally sell one item for a high ammount so nobody will buy them 
I made a shop and with the advert bring out your dead (from monty python) and i was supprised that everything i sold winth 10 mins.
I think the 10 pound upgrade is worth it jsut for the wings you get at level 30.

Yep i tried Telemachus a few mins ago and got instant on was just having a play with some of the other classes
