Heh i take back what i said about the telemachus chat been more mature, maybe it was jsut wishful thinking on my part.
Oh and a little tip for people who jsut got the game when you get to level 9 you get a quest to assend do it soon as you get it becasue its liek a free level up. The first time round i didnt know this and wasted a lot of time and lost some xp finshing up all my quests before assending.

this game is rather addictive... just started messing about with crafting potions for my chars as they burn through mana something stupid !!!
just made a small Legion on Gorgos, so if any OcUK'ers need a home they are welcome as the total atm is two

So this game still won't launch on my Win 7 x64 RTM.
Nothing happens when any attempt is made to launch the game or the NC Launcher.
So anyone had this problem and have a fix for it?

That happened to me during open beta, I tried a number of things and none of them worked until I simply reinstalled the NCSoft launcher...

Just so you know, reinstalling the launcher does not mean you also need to reinstall Aion, it should pick up your old settings. Hope it works for you too

Nope, installs just fine but will not launch, either straight up or under any compatibility mode, Lineage 2 launches fine, Aions little sister now I guess.
Sent a ticket in but with my many years enduring NC support I hold no hope what so ever.

Seems this is my problem : Message: Font 'Verdana' does not support style 'Regular'.
Does anyone have a copy of Verdana Regular font (e-mail in trust) Had this problem with another game, would not launch due to a missing font, *** Windows 7!

Still tempted, but the more videos i watch of it it just seems like another korean mmo... just with flight combat! Is there plenty of quests or am i gonna be grinding a lot between quests?
Im lvl 21 atm and so far I havent had any grinding sessions but I do kill some mobs when going from place to place.

I pay for mine on my credit card, I havent bothered to look at other payment forms, but I would imagine its the usual ones.
We've just set up our 3rd Legion...because of the number of people in our guild (well over 120) we've had to make 3 so far. So now we have TOG, TOG II and TOG III

how are you paying for yours when it doesnt come out untill the 25th ( which is friday, 2moz )
Its Gorgos server, Asmo race. Our recruitment is usually open, though you do need to be aged 25+. Thats pretty much the only restriction.
The preorder headstart was the 20th. I've already entered my card details on my NCsoft account, so it will just come out of that when its ready for the first subscription payment. Which according to my account will be 1st Nov.
Login to http://secure.ncsoft.com/ when it's less busy and in the billing section you can add credit cards etc to pay for membership.
At the moment, everyone that is playing is making use of the free "Head start" period having pre-ordered and applied a unique code to the above login area.

ahh ok i see, is it the same as people have been saying. if u pay for 100 hours and only play for 10 and have a break for 30 hours you still have the full 90 hours when you next go and play on it?
