I seem to get lots of crash there too, the screen goes pink and i have to reboot my computer. Probably something to do with my g card.

Are you guys all on the same server?
I'm on Spatalos which is seems very well populated, bad queues but good to see so many people about - reminds me of the early WoW days where everyone is really helpful (free buffs etc)
Has anyone tried all the classes? which melee class gives out the most SUSTAINED dps between assassin and gladiator?
EDIT: Dont suppose anyone knows a way of auto-logging in? would be really handy to have it sat in the queue for when I get home from work lol

Which is preferred, chanter or ranger? I'm only level 8 so could still go ranger but if chanter is preferred then I will re-roll if it helps.

For low levels, use whatever you feel like. Then MH-Dagger, OH-Sword.
Crit chance reads from your MH weapon so use a dagger in mh to maximise crit chance and sword in oh to stabalise your dps.

Ok, been watching Aion fraps vids on Youtube all morning... I said I was going to wait till the weekend but I cracked and ordered it
Can't decide whether to go for the Archer class or the tank class though, after my WoW days i always wanted to do some hardcore tanking, but I gather the game is more pvp orientated, so some range dps might be better. I've done neither before (healers Shaman in WoW) so I imagine whatever I pick will a nice change.
Will definitely be asking for an invite to the OcUK legion

This is interesting scutter because last night I got "dagger of the lake" or something to that effect, so I swapped out my MH sword and kept the named sword in OH, immediately my crits went up and I noted that it was applying to both OH and MH, so good point mate definately beats 2 swords.
Keep getting kicked out of the queue, well game is dissapearing

Can someone explain what adsactly DP is used for and is having this DP at L3 I think it is now whats giving my toon a strange glow?
Also im having difficulty tracking down a spell book "Yustiel’s Protection I" for Chanter, any ideas where I can pick it up?
Starting at lvl 10 you can get skills which require DP in order to use them. Cleric skill heals 50% MP & HP, requires 2000 DP.

I was getting loads of crashes as well, updated my gfx card to the latest driver and it's been fine ever since.
I have the crashing problem but only in pandanmonium, I can port in and crash almost instanly aswell, Iv had no problems in any zone so far.. Can play for hours and hours without a problem and then go to capital and crash instanly.
My card is ATI 4870x2
OS is Windows 7 RC 64bit
I think by looking at other topics it might be a driver issue maybe?

Interesting....I am using 1x 4890 on Windows 7 RC 64bit...and experience the same although I do not normally crash as soon as I zone in.
I think its more to do with different windows opening while in the main city i.e. broker, equipment and skills windows.....
Sometimes I can walk around the city for some time and not crash either so it must be one thing thats causing it but as of yet I cannot pinpoint what is the same during every crash.....maybe I should try updating my gfx driver though.
In regards to the crashing problem, someone at NCSoft said to use the ATI 9.4 drivers.

Agree, however once you hit crit cap wearing 2 swords, go that route.

No i havent tombstone but i will try the 9.4 drivers as suggested above and if that fails then ill try that!
I think the worst place is going into that gold palace place (the building with the warehouse guys) I walk in there and without fail it instanly crashes.
i want to try and get into a guild now, Become part of the community, Altho i dont know anyone in this game atm and trying to find a good guild through randoms and general chat/forums isnt normally the best idea. Any ideas?
I wanted to roll on the spata server with OC's but couldnt stand waiting for 2-3 hours a night

I was joking about the class, be whatever you want
No worries just thought if the guild was lacking in healers/tanks/dps or what not I'd be happy to roll one if it improves gameplay for everybody else (because we can do more stuff)
