I had the transfer issues too.
Ticketed NC, they advised it was due to the other servers being down and to retry later.

What race you all gone on Nexus?

Went onto my old characters, have completely forgotten how to play them and everyone is geared out well. So going to roll on the new one and relearn while it's fresh for everyone.

Well it would be better for you, on the others you'll have kitted out alts (aka twinks) and probably get ganked by high levels roaming for enemies etc. You might not though, depending on how many people are playing currently.

The new server everyone is fresh although you might have some level 20's or so who have power leveled but not a lot of money and no high end weapons to kit themselves out in yet. It would be much better for a first timer and more forgiving to be honest.

Yeah races are Elyos and Asmodians, Elyos being the fluffy and green lands and Amsodians being the dark and gritty lands aswell as looks.

Pretty much, but the flying / gliding mechanic is nice. PvP might be worthwhile now too if there's a big influx of newbies. You need a pretty beefy PC once the screen starts to fill up with players though, last time I played I had a 5770 and e8400 cpu and it just didn't cut it.

Let's face it, the Asmodians are really just as fluffy as the Elyos

I have a Nvida GTX 550 Ti on my Main Build and M11x Laptop with standard GFX how will these do with the game?

That is true and will probably happen, but it gives you time to learn how to play the game and be on a level playing field from the get go.

Finally got my account transferred, downloading the new client now. Can't wait to see how it runs now, had a major upgrade since the last time I played it.

I tried this out last night for a couple of hours

I rolled a Warrior for a change I never seem to play that class. From what I have done It seems like a good game. Cant use chat or anything but I am not bothered just yet I speak to my brother over skype lol.
I only got to level 6 but I like to think this will keep me entertained till guild wars 2. What do other people think?
