***official amd 83x0 overclocking thread***

Looking great Th0nt! Love the case, is it bigger or smaller than you expected? I'd love one but worried it would be huge!

And I know exactly how you feel at home, my boy is about the same age as your daughter and was running around the room throwing PSU cables about whilst I'm trying to fix the H80 in without breaking anything. Stress levels maxed :D

It's slightly smaller than I expected and a joy to work in. The look on the wife's face when I opened it was probably the polar opposite mind! :D

Thont, any chance of getting a 120.3 in the front as well as the 120.2 in the top? Or will the front only take 120.2? I just happen to have an old watercooling setup in the loft with those two size of rads.

That does look superb.

You can mount up to six 120mm or five 140mm fans, or install a 240mm or 280mm top radiator and a 240mm, 280mm, or even 360mm radiator on the front panel. Corsair’s innovative cable routing system gives you more options for hiding pumps and tubing out of the way.

I hope this helps ^ Hades.

Thanks for the comments guys, very pleased with the purchase, looking forward to overclocking it some now!

Oh. That looks a bit perfect then. Wasn't really looking for a new case but that does seem good. Trying to save money after some **** crashed into my car but that's tempting. Cheers.

Doh - you cant foresee other people being clumsy, bummer.

It is a sweet case, probably overshadows the other parts really and I will continue with it with any upgrades it's that spacious and tidy.

I have an AX360 rad at the front and a 240 at the top. Plenty of space.

Rigs look sweet lads. Orange - I had that PSU it was bloody brilliant. Thont - that case is so amazing. If I'd had the cash I'd have got one tbh. I picked up my Colossus for £60 delivered though and it turned out to be brand new so I couldn't say no :D

Apols for DP. I use LinX and I can tell you it gets the CPU hotter than anything else I've tried. It also tends to indicate if the CPU is stable in games. It's quicker too, just give it 5 passes and if the CPU comes through you should be golden :)

Sorry frigging resize settings:

Top case- loving it. Max temp after Cinebench was 41c but that doesnt take long to finish.

I was confused on the voltages. It has a base value of around 1.37 but rather than telling you when your adjusting what the end product voltage is, it shows 0.0xxx increments.

Sounds like the offset affair the Gigabyte board had. Strange, I would have thought the bios would be very similar to the ROG board. Any screenshots of the bios?

The ROG was designed with LN2 in mind so it will always be far more overclocking orientated. It should also be easier to use.
