Difficult one, but I think the guy catching it signalled it too genuinely to try to outsmart the umpires. Looking at the slow mo, I think he caught it. But oh well.

Yes I chuckled too.

Shame root got a bit impatient. Australia stopped them getting ones so unable to rotate the strike to get him in, thus limiting his time probably set by cook/management team, looks a bit silly now. Oh well.
