*****Official Ashes thread*****

Not all the dodgy decisions have been in England's favour, two in particular spring to mind from the first test. These things even themselves out over the course of a series.

Can anyone tell me why Panesar wasn't picked for this Test? I thought he'd be right in there like a shot.

Plus the not out that was reviewed and was a gnats **** away from not being umpire's call!

It was hitting the wicket, so should be out...

Shame for the fella, but a fantastic innings.

I really do hope this is a draw, then I can see England win the ashes at Durham!

Broad deserved that!... Didn't think we would ever get Clarke out.

Judging by the series so far, if Aussies top order got them to 430, their tail should get them to 700 by the end of the day:p

An Aussie win would be good for the series (ahem ;)) but I can't see it if the pitch remains like this for another day, we'd have to bat dreadfully.

Hmm, not happy about that. We should have batted all the way to the end. If our boys are capable of reaching 7 for 527 on this pitch, England is capable of batting for three days straight.

At this rate it'll be a draw.
