*****Official Ashes thread*****

I'm going to put this down as a win regardless :p

Talk about sending them home with their tails between their legs, it couldn't get dark fast enough :D

This will be the ashes narrative, despite all the attempts at portraying England as boring it comes down to Australia captain Clark begging an umpire for a light call LOL.

Think Clarke will be getting in trouble for his conduct at the end there, umpire had to push him away!

Hopefully this farce will get the light laws changed to give the umpires some discretion.

Anyway, congratulations to England for winning the series 3-0. :)

I am struggling to feel bad, its 3-0 and we pulled light at trafford with a 7.2 reading, this was 6.0 so what can you say.

Like they are saying on the BBC text page why don't they start earlier then this problem wouldn't have happened?

Lose overs like yesterday, kick off at 10:30 the next day. I'm guessing the answer is going to be TV not wanting to meddle with their schedules.

What because England haven't done any time wasting of their own? Slightly hypocritical...

^Fair play Jonathan Trott.

not when the aussies and there media have been slating us for it only for them to do this so yes hypocritical on the aussies for sure

They had to start late today because the outfield was still soaked from last night's rain.
