He didnt its the sound his name makes ive noticed it throught out the tests rooooooooot just sounds like boooooooo.

It's a shame the spectators acted like muppets booing Clarke, he declared and made it a game of it, which was a very positive act.

Edit: slow reply is slow.

Until he realised he was going to lose and then slowed it right down at every possible opportunity. A bit hypocritical when the australian camp has spent the whole series twisting about englands over rate.

Though the booing was still unnecessary.

Think Shane Warne is kidding himself that Australia are getting that much nearer England.

England were below par for 4 of the 5 games and still won 3-0, if Cook and Trott had actually got some decent runs they wouldn't have had a look in. Be surprised if we play as poorly as that again.

Biggest problems we've got going forward to the winter is who do we take as our backup spinner and seamers if Bresnan doesn't make it.

Don't like to hear booing at cricket matches, while the umpiring has been pretty ordinary, the umps today didn't deserve that reception at the presentation - not their fault that the ICC make stupid rules. Also thought it was a bit out of order booing Clarke, yeah he was timewasting at the end, but he did set up a decent day of cricket with the declaration. But still, good series win without being outstanding, need to go to their place in November and dominate there now, prove this squad deserves it....

Agreed on all counts.

Crikey this had draw written all over it but didnt expect it in this fashion!

Some monster money flew around on betfair:

3 million overall at odds of 1.01 on the draw (looked a cert yesterday!)
England hit a high price of 800/1 which had 9 quid bet on it.

Some seriously brown undercrackers for some layers!

All over the world...
Unlucky England lol...watched most of it but had to go out before they called it day due to bad light.

Luckily the Aussies got away with a draw as this was definitely heading for an England win...3-0 series win, suppose its somewhat a whitewash:p.

Really poor Ashes from the Aussies though, they dont have bowlers who can take 10 or 20 wickets quickly anymore. Looking forward to the series down under, hopefully the Aussies will put up a better fight and both their batters and bowlers will show some real fight rather than what they have done this series.

Bell man of the series and well deserved, really looks the part now with his runs that he scored for England.

I'm watching a bit of the Women's Ashes on Sky atm. It isn't the worst standard I've ever seen tbh, though the bowling in general is pretty poor, you never expect a wicket to be taken tbh. Also nobody seems to run....they knock it away and then go for a little jog down the wicket....Seen quite a few run outs!

The game is quite well balanced atm. England win will retain the Ashes, and they need about 60 off of 65 balls.
