Hating this drs rubbish is ruining the game, I don't think that should have been out.

The review system is a joke in fairness, if he hasn't hit it, no noise, no hot spot, how can he possibly be given out? "Because there isn't enough evidence to overturn the umpires decision" ... well there won't be evidence will there, he didn't hit it :confused:

Works both ways granted, but it's a joke for both teams.

There was a noise on snicko though. Really not liking how negative we are playing, we should be chasing this not playing for a draw.
 
Yeah, there was a noise. 3rd umpire isn't allowed to use snicko but there was clearly something audible in normal time.
 
There was a noise (and a hotspot) in Pietersen's first innings when he was given out LBW, these umpires seem to really inconsistent with the use of technology, it's almost like they don't want to overrule the onfield umpire because it will discredit him.

It is isnt it;)...sorry but id like to see the Aussies win this test and make a real match of this series...still think England will win the Ashes but if the Aussies win this they might give England a real run for their money.

Every post that guy makes is miserable, negative, hateful.. think he's just a miserable sod myself. Same in the F1 threads, if his lover-boy Hamilton doesn't win or Vettel gets to the first corner, you can guarantee his post will be "Vettel lucky default win again gg" or something similar.

We need rain to save ourselves now :(
 
I dont understand when the protocol on DRS changed, roll back 6 months and it was simple - out or not out based on what the technology showed. Why is some muppet who cant get it right on the field now allowed to use his own opinion when deciding on reviewed decisions? when did this happen?

Pretty evident to see that so far the Aussies have had some very bad decisions go against them whether you choose to believe it or not. But i dont blame England for those decisions, its the damn umpires and the DRS that isnt working very well...well tbf the DRS works but the umpires are the ones who are not using it properly.
 
Also what happened to hotspot, roll back 6 months again and it picked up basically everything. We're told it misses .2% of edges because theres not enough contact but there's been how many in this series so far? is this 'super third world budget edition so it can be used by all the nations-hotspot' or what?

There's been dodgy decisions either way but the rub of the green has been their way.
