Would anyone mind taking some pictures of the egg cooler?

Removed pictures and shroudless heatsink would be nice to compare it to the tiny heatsink on the exhaust cooler.

What temps are you lot getting with a 5770 crossfire config? I've got 2 5770's (XFX ones with the original shroud cooler.)

The card the monitor is plugged into maxes at 75c but the linked card is always 10c cooler. Is this normal in a crossfire rig?

Mine sit a couple of degrees within each other. When run hard they max at around 65.c but i have quite a bit of cooling. Mine are both shroud cooleres could be the different coolers. ? Do you have decent case cooling.?

Yes, the first card always runs around 10 degrees hotter then the second.

The best thing you can do to reduce the temperature easilly is to replace the stock thermal paste with MX-3, if you dont mind removing the cooler that is.

what's a safe range? I'd like to run the core at 900mhz but the top card peaks at 85c. Is that ok?

Same for me, top card is about 10C hotter than the bottom card.

Can a few people list the type of cooler they have and their temps for idle and load at stock clocks?

Just so we can get a rough idea what we should be getting.

80 load

36c Idle 65c Full load, at stock settings. Both cards within 1-2.c of each other.

Well this thread and the fact you now get dirt 2 free with any 5770 card has swayed it for me. Going to order two of them tomorrow

Now i just need to know which one of the cards have the egg cooler type one, and which ones having the sexy red type shroad casing?
The pictures are very deceiving... Does the HIS ATI one have the original cover.
