Yeah it would put me off as well. My advise would be to sit tight though and wait for someone else to offer something similar. If its not a mistake then someone will follow suit.

Also my experience with Tesco ordering and getting money refunded has been terrible, no way I'd order from them again. They mispriced something which I bought and it took them 5 weeks to get the money back to me and I kept on having to phone them.

Dice have said that there will be no standard editions. Its just LE from all the sellers according to their twitter. The standard edition will probably come in a couple of months. The LE is just a standard game box with a code added.

Fair enough. Bare in mind though that its just a handful of unlocks all of which can just be gained through playing.
 
Seems some US stores have started selling this already and there's mention of EU store/s already doing the same. Any UK place breaking I'm sure we'd hear about it in a matter of minutes.

With 25% less ammo needed to drop a guy on this game now, its just getting better and better, and only 1 week to go :D

Those looking at Bad Company 2 as only a single-player game might come away disappointed. It's an action packed, gorgeous, and explosive game but it doesn't quite come together into a campaign for the ages. It more feels like an added bonus to the multiplayer game and for those in search of that, this is a great choice. Bad Company 2 as an online shooter is flexible and engaging, offering several features that the competition can only dream of. If you're looking for a more strategic and team-based change of pace, look no further. This is the game for you.
