*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

Cheers for the advice End Creditz, had some really good rounds as the engineer last night and today and have nearly unlock all of the weapons. Was getting some silly scores in some rounds.
 
Those mines can be fun eh ;)


Today I noticed on Nelson Bay map the mcomm stations were blowing up very very quickly and apparently without anyone from the attacking team planting on them. I was right next to one at one point and it wasn't flashing and yet boom off it went.

Anyone heard any rumours of a bug/exploit?
 
I have yet to still unlock the last assualt weapon M16?.

It's bugging me, over half way though. Then I'm done :)

Aye the mines are awesome.

On Nelson bay was it B on the first wave of mcom's that went down quickly as thats the easiest station in the game to get if you just get a few snipers to rain Mortar's down on to it.

The M16 is the last weapon I have to unlock too I believe. Taking me ages to get it as I'm addicted to mines atm :D
 
I don't seem to be getting any stats on AT mines just started using them in ernest after buying the SPECACT. I should be near double figures for kills, but it still says zero.
 
Has everyone from here given up playing BC2? Hardly anyone on my FL seems to be online now, and I only like to really play in a squad.
 
I brought the new pack yesterday for 480 points.

Any tell me what it brings/changes to my game now ???

I heard new achievements and pins but what are they ??

I have the same issue with the Garrand (spelling?) and the Thompson has done something weird too (given me the bronze star despite only having 9 kills with it)

Achievements are just complete all of SPECACT for each class, besides that pack simply alters the appearance of some of the player models and weapons I believe. Could be wrong as I haven't bought it yet though.

I'm fond of the snipers brighter colours in the new pack. Much easier to spot on desert maps :)


anticonscience I'm up for some squad play but not likely to be online beyond 8pm most nights as the shared connection I use gets a bit too busy for gaming after then :(

Please bear in mind I have not played a game for 7months as I have been in Afghan so I'm not what I used to be!
 
Nearly unlocked everything now, just got another 6000 points to go on assault before I'm done with playing for points entirely.

*is looking forward to going back to engineer class*
 
Does anyone here find the M249 SAW gives you bloodlust when you find yourself in an enclosed space with 3 or more enemies? I start laughing maniacally as I mow them down and usually finish up slashing the bodies with my combat knife. Doesn't happen with any other weapon, so I've found, so it might just be me going mildly postal............ :D


It's just so much more satisfying than the M60!
