So having a consistent stream of DLC by way of map packs and weapon/character skins, consistent patching to ensure no gun becomes overpowered (M16 is still OP in CoD4, 3 years on, M60 took a couple of months to be patched in BC2), Onslaught Mode DLC, BC1 maps converted to the Frostbite 2 engine AND a Vietnam expansion don't count as supporting the game?
I'm struggling to work out what you want from them...
Firstly read my reasons again why Vietnam is not supporting the game.
Secondly, there were no map packs, VIP system consisted them of holding back already made maps. We could have been playing all the maps on the day of release, this was a totally contrived move by EA not letting us.
Onslaught mode, a poor excuse for co-op, with 4 recycled MP maps. When instead they could have made the campaign co-op from the outset. Or god forbid included new maps with that mode.
Weapon skins, waste of time/money.
Weapon balance should have been there from day one if they'd bothered to beta test it sufficiently, it's not exactly rocket science, but then it's also not difficult to implement changes from the server side, hence why they do it that way under the guise of 'support'.
