Well that's just your games that is happening in then, I played this for hours yesterday and yes there were snipers here and there, but nothing like you make it sound.

You seem to anger quickly, maybe you should stick to quake or something?

Yeah it's just me thats said it in this thread.

I don't anger at all unlike fan boys that cannot take the slightest critism of a game they dry hump.
 
There needs to be more incentive for winning/losing. So, for example, if your team doesn't win the mission by completing the objectives, everyone's score gets reduced by half or something. Some are just playing to rank up and not bothering about the objectives.
 
The sniping in this has put me off aswell unfortunately!
They do need to limit it as i have frequently had games like dannyjo has mentioned.
can everyone hear you talk between rounds as in both sides? as the amount of times i would love to tell that bunch of snipers that they did nothing for their team is mounting up!
 
Just like the old BF2 times - no one likes the snipers! Just stick to cover and run in a zig zag. It normally ends up sniper v sniper as a lot easier to hit a sitting sniper than a moving soldier. Unless they hit you first.

Again just like old BF2 - people get caught up in the fight and forget about objectives and the attacking team ends up in a defensive position! The game does help here with the 'push your losing' message - and that does seem to get an attack going. So maybe a timer a few more flashy messages.

Regardless people will always mess about on a demo and public server.
 
Sniping doesn't have sway for balance. With COD there's no bullet travel or drop, if you're sitting back sniping on attackers then it will be easy to get kills but in my experience doesn't do much for the team and in this game its much more about objectives rather then just killing.

I thought that COD had bullet travel & drop. :confused:
 
Totally agree with danny, the games we played was just full of them. We couldn't get anywhere without being sniped. It would be nice if they put a limit on them or add sway to the scope. Its actually a fun game wheb you come up against a team of people trying to go for the objective instead of sitting in the same spot all time.

I just think the only thing thats improved from BC1 is the squad system. The map is boring, the weapons ineffective and the damage model seemingly unchanged. Shame as I really wanted it to be good :(

Not saying you should enjoy the game as clearly your not but most of the BC1 forum users were upset with how easy is it to drop people. I'm only using the xm8(?) assault weapon at the moment and it seems people only take around 3-4 bullets and with that weapon I'm killing squads of 4 with one mag if I burst fire. Give it a pop.

I think a couple of quad bikes may be good but then the quad bike is a powerful tool in the capture of objectives so maybe it would be too much to have multiples.
