*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

I don't think the weapons are ineffective - infact that PKM seems fairly powerful and I get killed before I can get a shot off.

Short bursts to the head are key - if you empty into the body they will have all the time they need to get you with a couple of headshots.

Not saying you should enjoy the game as clearly your not but most of the BC1 forum users were upset with how easy is it to drop people. I'm only using the xm8(?) assault weapon at the moment and it seems people only take around 3-4 bullets and with that weapon I'm killing squads of 4 with one mag if I burst fire. Give it a pop.

I think a couple of quad bikes may be good but then the quad bike is a powerful tool in the capture of objectives so maybe it would be too much to have multiples.

Its hard to put my finger on it but its just not as much fun as the first game, its tried to go serious and it doesnt work imo. The first game I really enjoyed, ranked all the way up to the top in multi but cant see myself buying this one.
As for being easy to drop people, maybe if you're a crack shot and can hit the head everytime - I'm not so I'm really struggling. Plus they've changed the controls, having the D-Pad for changing to grenade launcher is pants

If I hadn't got my pre-order for such a good price I wouldn't even bother with this now to be honest, I'll stick to MW2. Might just sell my copy on and make a few quid.

Lol just had the longest game ever.

The attackers nicked both our choppers and their entire team was virtually in the sky :D They weren't capturing anything and we couldn't shoot them down because we had no vehicles it dragged on for ages until one of the idiots flew into a cliff :p

Why do people find it so hard to fly the copters?

I had a match like that last night me and a mate vs about 9, we ended up racing the quads down one hill around the building site dodging tanks/rpgs and racing back up the other hill :p

Absolutely loving this demo. Reminds me of the fun I used to have on BF1924/Desert Combat years ago on the PC. I know times have moved on since then but i just love the squad based combat, openess of the maps and being able to use vehicles. Graphics and surroundings are awesome too :)

Loving the demo. The matches can take bloody ages though! I think I was in one for well over an hour.

It was a little hard getting used to after playing MW2, but I'm getting pretty good now. Medic class for the win.

i tryed the demo the other night, and i hated it,compared to mw2.It just feels exactly like battlefield 1942 and looks the same but with diffrent clothing and guns. The sound is terrible sounds like your playing it with fingers in your ears, the aiming and damage is shocking.

Oh and I hate the "epic fail" just makes me want to tell the game to Do not quote swear words off everytime.

Only time it got on my nerves was when I killed myself with the RPG :p

I was inside a building that had a small gap in the corner which had been made by a tank and it was just big enough to fire through, so I fired my first rocket at the tank and it was a direct hit, it didn't move so I thought I'd do it again. I didn't move an inch and I didn't adjust my aim either, but apparently the second shot hit the wall

No as bad as the time I tried to "repair" my tank with an RPG as I thought I had the drill out :o:D
