Edit: I can tell you which weapons are best WRT damage but there's no way to compensate for bullet drop or ammo counts (because I don't have this to hand!) There are also a few weapons with exactly the same damage figures so you'd need to look at accuracy, clip sizes and reload times to notice a difference between the two.

Based on their damage figures and their accuracy the best guns (IMO) are:

Assault: M16A2
Engineer: PP2000
Medic: M60
Recon: VSS or M24 (if you'd prefer bolt action)
Pistol: M1911
General: G3
Shotgun: Saiga

Read up on the XIM3 if you want that sort of thing, anything else and you're just wasting your time and money.

XIM is the only product on the market that offers true mouse and keyboard support for the 360...cost a lot though. The XIM3 which the guy is working on at the moment is a stand alone unit (the past ones needed a pc plugged in) that is aiming to be a mainstream product at a mainstream price. still over £100 though as it has a built in LCD screen. I hope that it wont become too mainstream though. This post isnt helping :p

Looks nice, but I don't keep my pc near to my Xbox and I severely doubt I'll be able to afford an XIM3
 
I absolutely love this game. The graphics are fantastic. The mechanics are fantastic. The diversity of maps is fantastic.

Unfortunately, the general ineptitude of the mass player base combined with the horrificly over powerful sniper class utterly ruins the game.

Shame.

Anyways, if anyone fancies adding me on Live, it's SKR Phoenix (with space). I shall be on for a few hours tonight. My luck is in, my Mrs was blowing chunks, so has gone to bed early! :eek:

If she ever sees that, I'm dead! we get married on Sat! :D

But I NEED as much BF time as possible because I'm heading off to Vegas for a while on Tuesday. I will have withdrawl symptoms..... maybe not! :D

That logic only applies to CoD4 :D

BC2 softens up BC1. BC1 was an amazing game, but it absolutely required you to play as a squad and communicate, something which didn't happen on a console game with a commmunity largely made up of casual players. BC2 still massively rewards teamwork, with any role being made infinitely more effective through squad play, but at the same time playing in a squad where nobody talks or works as a team doesn't result in an insanely boring match :D

All the spawn problems have been eliminated, now having arguably the best spawn system of any game, and the ballistics model has been massively improved.

The problem with MW2 is it added its own problems, but on BC2 the only conceivable problem is how it rewards playtime, but after x hours that stops being apparent, combine that with eliminating ALL of the originals problems and adding more modes and it just becomes, in WoR's words, "The best FPS ever" :D

Highest amount of points tonight in one game, 11,300k!!!!! Was AWSOME, I love the engineer class, best class in the game tbh :D

Yay the lovely EA servers have crashed again. FFS get it sorted EA this is pathetic. I wish DICE would make and maintain the games on their own and give EA the finger because they are too big for their boots and EA ruin everything they touch.
 
My stats have all gone! Nooo! I can't seem to log in now - but hopefully all the stats will be back when it decides to work again. A shoddy service!

Edit: Works now - the stats are back!

i got 19,000k the other night as a engineer :D most of my points were from repairs to tanks my two clan members where driving.
