*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

Servers are down atm! Did a couple of levels of single player - didn't realise you could zoom in with the uav!
 
I wish there was an icon to tell you if you're crouched or not! I find it's not always easy to tell in the heat of a battle, especially if you have buildings or terrain in front of you. Sometimes i'm trying to hide, press the crouch button and i've forgotten i'm already crouched so I end standing straight up and getting shot to bits! lol

Maybe I just need to learn to play better :p
 
WELL! I've seen it all now. Just killed a lone medic man. Saw him go down. Got the 50 points score. Next thing I know, I'm dead. Killcam shows it was the same fella who killed me 100% health.

How on earth did that happen? He was in my territory so couldn't have spawned there. He was alone, there were no other squad members nearby when he died. Has someone out there found a way to cheat?

It can't have been because the cam showed him carrying on running as if nothing had happened. :confused: Anyway, I did send him a message asking what happened but as he was French, I doubt I will get any reply.

And yee-hah! I got the roadkill with a helicopter trophy. Took several attempts but I managed to squish three people in one go by just landing it on their heads with a fast descent. Priceless.

Decided to get online, couldn't resist!

Had 2 great games in a couple of decent squads. Got a hell of a shock when an enemy sniper nailed me while I was going full pelt on a quad...! Impressive shooting!

Some shocking ranks already....I swear some people must play this game non stop :D
 
It seems to me that this game is coping a lot better than Bad Company 1 did in the multiplayer, a genuine contender to Modern Warfare, I honestly preferred BC1 to CoD4, but the fact that ALL my friends preferred CoD4 to BC1 meant I got bored of it fairly quickly :D

I should be staying on it this time, at least perhaps until the new Medal of Honour comes out, that looks pretty impressive :)
 
Chokka, that sigomatic thing, how does it work? I have typed in my 360 tag several times and it just says there is a error???

Do I have to register my self elsewhere first?

Nah you just go to the site and put in your EA BF account login name (not your 360 GT) and it picks it all up from that. There might be a communication error, as there was one earlier on today.

Howdo all.
Prob` been mentioned before a zillion pages back, but.
Can you use keyboard/mouse combo on this game (PS3) and if you can, does it put you on different servers than for peeps using standard controls.
Reason for asking is, friends with PS3`s are trying to get me into this game, but as a PC owning BF2er I dont know if I could get on with the PS3 control method.
Your thoughts on this please. Ta.
 
Loving the Medic class atm. Weapons feel great, not much recoil and reviving people is pretty fun too! Get loads of points as well. Think ill stick with the Medic for awhile.

Noticed a lot of people using medic, guess it gives the most points, although some of the medics I have met think they are a assault class with, as I think they thing "awsome rambo gun dude!" and have no frikkin clue what the box does when thrown out after pressing right on the D pad lol

because they are op. have you even tried the m60 yet. it's almost as bad as the m60 from vietnam. also take that weapon chart with a pinch of salt. the hk416 looks pretty average there but it is easily the best assault rifle you can get.
