That's where variable DPI mice come into play.
When I jump into a tank/chopper/mounted weapon, I up the DPI on my MX518 :)

Last night I tagged a sniper in the face at point blank, died/spawned, rocket to the face. Immense :D

You get them for allsorts, I got 5k for number of squad spawns on me, squad orders which are easy just press Q while aming at an Mcom :p if it gets destroyed by your team you get points :)
Kill assists, Vehicle Repairs, resupply..
 
I've been playing fine since last Tuesday, but last night I got about 3 CTDs. I have no idea why they have suddenly started happening. Funnily enough though, when I was playing, the game seemed smoother than ever!

All I've changed on my PC is that I have 2 new HDDs in there, rather than just 1. Could that make a difference?
Or maybe because I was launching it THROUGH Steam (as a non-steam game)?

Anyone else done the same as me and getting CTDs?
 
Tried playing as a medic yesterday afternoon, but was not very good.

Should probably have consulted the manual, but I seemed to have no medic abilities that I could figure out. Didn't have any first aid kits to drop, couldn't revive players, nada.

What was I doing wrong?
 
Bit silly not giving a medic some form of medic abilities from the get-go isn't it?

or the engineer the ability to fix things....yet another stupid design decision.

im trying to like BC2 but its just tripe, even though ive now got the hang of sniping.

the lack of vehicles and map size is just ****, i loved the days where you could get into fighter jets and dog fight, or Navy Seal off an aircraft carrier using boats.

Its such a dissapointment as graphically maxed out its fantastic, yet the game play is such a backward step due to it being directed at the console MW boyz.

Anyone getting fed up with snipers, just play some squad deathmatch, just had about 2 hours without a single sniper kill, was a lot of fun and good to see squads working together :D

Well you are entitled to your opinion, you may think it is 'tripe' but I know that all my mates and I who racked up many hours of play on BF2 are loving this. Yes it is simplified for the console market and the maps/team sizes are smaller, but I think the maps are very well paced, the Frostbite engine is awesome and the game is just great fun to play (as long as teams are relatively well balanced and 50% of your side haven't gone recon!)

Hopefully the master server issues will be sorted soon and they do something about the horrid browser, it is still as bad as it was in Beta :(
 
Well glad for the peeps playing it but so far in between servers being down, needing to update my drivers due to graphics glitches and once done getting kicked by punkbuster within 5 seconds or so I've not actually played it yet I'm pretty much fedup of it already.

I'm not interested in single player thats not what I bought it for so bummed out atm. My punkbuster files are up to date so guess I will give it a few days and try again. If it wasn't for the fact it's fps I wish I had got it on console.

Oddly enough I've playedsince it came out too, and got my first CTDs last night as well. I'd added a clan tag and reset my OC setings, but they were the same settings as previously, so no idea why it happened!
 
I think the CTD issue is EA master server related, I've only had a couple and they are always when trying to connect to servers, and when the login/server refresh is taking its time.
