SP for me was very lack lustre; I found the MP Beta far more engrossing.

Running the game in these settings and getting max 60fps. It did drop down to 15 during huge *** explosions though. :S

Stuck on a bit at the start that is driving me mad. Its one of those really frustrating things in games that relies on split second timing. Or maybe I just suck at aiming. :/

My 2 4890s are running it at a good 75-80 fps wit everything on max and 4aa, why do you feel the need to upgrade?

You used a keygen to obtain a code not specifically issued to you , therefore you are running an illegal copy of the game. And no smartass justification can change that.
If you must insist on acting like a petulant child and pirating peoples hard work then do us all a favour keep it to yourself.

will this game need steam to run .... like alien vs predator ?

From the beta I ran 2 copies, 1 was through Steam (Where I ordered it), 1 was an independent copy I downloaded off of Filefront. Both copies worked online since my CD-key was only bound to my e-mail address.
NO, this game does not use steamworks. You do not need steam installed/ running to play single/ multiplayer.
However, if you buy via steam then yes must have steam in offline mode (minimum) for singleplayer and online for multi.

3GB DDR 800 Ram
WD 150 Raptor
Nvidia GTS 8800 640Mb
1920x1080 24" Monitor
Have any of you got a similiar spec and how playable is it ? I cant afford to upgrade yet but i dont want to miss out.
