*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Yeah that's the spot hella annoying with a rubbish team, you can tube it from A with this crouch up to one of the front cubicles line up with the bottom of the edging then popup and fire.

I played last night and went on S&D. Decided to put my chat back to everybody so I could talk to my team mates,first lobby I went in had some annoying tard singing and some other ones shouting. So my chat is back to friends only and won't change again now!
I'll be on tonight but i'm working so it won't be til around 10:30 til I get on.
 
I know what you mean there I put the map packs back on yesterday because I was getting bored and it was like a zoo/asylum coming down the headset almost every game.
 
Been playing BF:BC2 for the past couple of months but it's starting to get on my **** so just bought the two map packs for mw2 to reignite my passion for all things COD :D

Forgot how hard it is learning new maps! Not liking Carnival much but I like.. Storm is it? Need to play them more. I'm surprised how often the new maps are coming up in rotation actually.

if you are referring to the AT4 then yes its good, especially with scavanger, the amount of kills i have got with AT4, scavanger and claymores on 'invasion' is unbelievable :D

Edit: especially with Danger Close Pro and Ninja Pro on, this is on hardcore TDM, you rack some up serious killage
 
I'm not touching this game again. I mean it this time, it's such a rubbish game. That's from someone that's put close to 20 days into the game.

On to Fifa 10 and Red Dead Redemption methinks.
 
the problem with MW2 is that most of the talented dev team who made the game have left.

Thats left it in limbo with nobody to fix the stupid commando pro lunge etc..

Talent dev team left? They never joined in the first place or the mountain of issues wouldn't have been there to start with and I wouldn't be stuck on weekends keep getting match made with yanks.

The gun balance would be better.

There would be no nukes in ffa.

The maps would have better balance for domination, some of them are pathetic for one sided games.

Rangers, rangers patched, rangers still awesome with FMJ etc etc

And on and on to fade....

There was never a talented dev team in the first place. Half the reason COD is as popular is because it's one of the few games that has a quick working lobby system. You can go from dashboard to ingame in seconds.

When you compare that to other FPS with the exception of Halo games the rest are woefull.
 
Played for the first time last night after about 2 weeks off, and it was a most joyful experience. Had a right laugh and didn't get angry once.

taking it too seriously if you're getting angry with it.
the only thing that's annoyng me is the ammount of time it's seems to be taking me to get to lvl 70 this time around.
the things that used to annoy me don't annoy me now, like spawn killing ect.
i sometimes spawn kill without knowing it really, or with chopper gunner and just killing everyone who spawns

There would be no nukes in ffa - you have friends that like to play with you, stop playing FFA

The maps would have better balance for domination, some of them are pathetic for one sided games - Couldn't agree more, but 2 of us rushing the far side of the map at the start helps!

Rangers, rangers patched, rangers still awesome with FMJ etc etc - Spas is worse, all of the shotguns are basically a joke mate imo

Shot gun sniper rifles - Most frustrating thing in the game for me (actually thats a lie, Thumper, tubes, AT4 and RPG are much worse!)

To be fair i wouldn't play at all if you guys weren't on, i'm only there for the banter but the fact that we play so much stops me playing any other FPS as I dont want to get hammered for the first 3 matches i play readjusting to the controls!
 
The problem for me with mw2 is for an FPS game so few of the total kills actually come from bullets shot by other players. I can kill 4 people with hardline and net myself 30+ kills on streaks (some of which I dont even have input on). That just shouldnt be possible IMO.
 
There would be no nukes in ffa. - no tac insertion would be better as then it is a challange to get a nuke in FFA

Shot gun sniper rifles - very occasionally this is a problem as the spas is not that good without host.
