****Official Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 thread****

Seriously, I don't see what the fuss is about. I've been playing for a few hours myself. Mixture of SP and MP. Enjoying them both. MP is fast and quite fluid. Even if the graphics are not up many peoples expectations, in the end, it's all about the individual playing the game. Maybe it's just me, but I am having a blast on the MP. Granted we can't choose what team we want to be on, but damn, just the thrill of it all. I like it. Just waiting on my copy of BF3 to arrive so I can enjoy that too.

I am not one way or the other. I like the games for what they are: FPS. That is all. Also so far I am enjoying the SP storyline on MW3. Sure it'll get better as time goes on.

Anyway, enough from me. Carry on kids.
 
ill be playing this a lot, be interesting playing this with a few other forum members, started to enjoy Css with you lot so looking foreword to some hectic games.
 
how so different, loved the UMP so im hoping its still as lethal an option as it used to be, that thing paired with a silencer was wicked deadly!

i agree that consoles are currently the noose around the pc's neck but am i miss interpreting you statement and you are suggesting cod4's are superior? or have i got that wrong?

yes i reckon cod4 and WAW graphics.textures etc are superior. first lot of textures i observed on MW3 immediatly put an image of cod4's textures in my mind. lol

plus, why is it so blurry? dont understand why they would decrease the quality of the graphics? or are pc's not getting better graphics like MW2 had on pc over the console versions?

im firing it up now so ill write my verdict on that in a moment but i was shocked at how bad cod 4's textures were last time i played it so id be hard pressed to believe they are that bad.

well fired it up, first map 15 for 3 so ive still got it and as for textures set the image quality to native, on extra the textures really are cod4 quality but set to native it made a massive difference in the first 30 seconds i looked at it. perhaps this is what you need to change as extra was listed from default for me.

I will look tomorrow. Mine auto set to extra also.
 
its true, image is soo much sharper and textures are a much higher res set to native, the difference is night and day
