***Official Crackdown 2 Thread***

Finished this last night on coop with a mate.

Took all the cell strong holds and activated all the beacons.

I have 351 orbs :p really not sure if i can be bothered to get/find the next 149 :p

Was a good laugh on coop though !
 
Anybody wanna help me have a bash at this tonight ?

guess it'll be around 11-12pm before i get home tho:S

Wanna kick ass with some decent people fed up off fools joining my games n killing me but playing on my own is boring :(

Its really addictive finding them.

I use the chopper to fly around though much easier than jumping around, get a much better view of the city. Land the chopper jump out grab the orb and away again :D
 
Don't know if it's just my memory, but I'm finding targeting very annoying compared to the first game. The bits where you have to protect the (insert name here because I haven't got a clue what it is) from particular marked freaks is very frustrating.

I agree. It feels like they stuck them in there. They don't feel intergrated into the game world I don't think.

Really?

None of the Beacon's were hard I thought - what difficulty are you playing on?

Is that the one with the big old infected?
 
It's only on Tough difficulty. My problem was that I kept getting knocked off the ledges by punching rather too much (your man seems to dash all over the place whilst doing so) and therefore falling to the cave floor. So by the time I jumped back up, the beacon was practically destroyed. I managed to do it now by waiting until after midnight and having a grenade launcher.

Shouldn't take me long with my mate then onto collecting all the orbs :(

Might have to get my laptop out beside me with a map of all the locations i think lol

These an in game map that shows the orbs you've already collected. So using any online guide you can narrow down the ones you need.
