*****Official Crysis 3 Thread*****

I'm having the same problems on the final mission. It takes ages and when you die it takes you right back to the beginning of the fight. Add to that my copy (genuine bought copy) crashes every time you die, so I have to reload it too!

Not impressed at all

After you have ******* the boss the first time make your way up to the right, there is a tank. Jump in and sort out the soldiers that come at you then go to work on the boss again. Rinse, repeat and your done.

To those that got the game on the amd reloaded offer, how long did it take for the code to come through, I have my bioshock (steam)code come through immediatly, however it says to wait for an email from them for it. , so how long diod yours take?

Bullit

Approx 5 days (I emailed them on the 4th day) - both Bioshock and Crysis 3 codes were came through on the same email.

Okay if I can bring myself to reinstall I'll try that but the problem was there seemed to be no way to hide from that second arm attack no matter where I ran to or sought cover.

To be honest you're so close to the finish of the game you won't be missing much. Just if you really to tick it off as game done. There is plenty of time to leg it to the tank by dodging and it just makes the job a doddle when you get in.

I must say that I'm quite pleased with how Crysis runs on my rig.

Rocking a lowly Phenom x4 965 (overclocked to 3.6), 7950 not even clocked (will get on it soon) and getting between 40-60 FPS. 1080p but settings not on the highest of the highest. Still looks and plays great.

I've been very impressed with my hardware in this game.

Just installed the game yesterday and played a few hours.

Using Nvidia 320.14 beta drivers, settings maxed at 1920x1200 smaa 2x and motion blur medium. Plays like a dream.

Playing this through from the beginning again, my god the Cry Engine is one sexy looking engine. I love shooting the glass windows, such a cool effect when the glass breaks and cracks.

Works quite well with 680/670 SLI at 1600p on all High (some VHIgh).

Also, I'm looking to load up original Crysis, but figured I'd do a full ENB suite this time.

I remember old Crysis needed .cfg files to sit well, wondering if anyone could recommend an ENB + exec.cfg?

Makes you wonder which will look better, ENB original or Crysis 3.

I got this with my new GPU, and I am actually quite impressed so far, apart from a few crashes I am getting, which I will look in to tomorrow

Performance-wise, it is pretty good, but not great for me. I am playing on High, with a few settings on V high, and in the field at the beginning where Psycho is guiding you, I get 80fps sometimes, and then it will drop to mid 40s, or even 30s!

Overall the game looks absolutely stunning, and I am enjoying it. Loving the environments so far, and the gameplay is great. Also, the lore is actually quite underrated in the Crysis games imo, and the story is shaping up fairly well too.

Hmm I was contemplating buying this last night for £13 on SimplyGames (Origin Key) but the gameplay in hours put me off.

Though for £13...

It pops up in the MM quite often for a tenner or less, as it was part of the Never settle promotion. I considered selling my code, but kept it in the end

Didn't realise codes were allowed on MM as I never looked there for them hah but having a look now I see they're allg one. Ordered via Simply anyway though for £3 more.
