Well... i've played through the demo twice now, once on hard and again on normal and messing about inbetween.
I hate it... i really do. As far as i can tell its worse then far cry. As soon as the enemy runs into the bushes i cant see them to save my life. As soon as i run in the bushes i cant see the enemy, but they can still track me down and spot me as soon as i break cover. Ive put 1000's of rounds from a jeep's machine gun "almost" where a soldier was, and not killed him. I've been spotted by a patrol boat out in the bay as i crept past a window in a hut miles away.
But all thats minor, i just have terrible trouble accurately aiming at any distance. Ok, i dont have the sniper scope or anything near, but it still wasnt fun. There just wasn't enough sensitivity in the aiming. (im resisting the urge to yell console gimped right here)
But i did like the bit where you can topple logs down on top of the passing guards. There wasn't enough of that stuff though, and it didnt always work so well. Did enjoy the AI having a soldier shoot at the spot where i had been cloaked, as i snuck up behind and super strength punched their heads off.
It's wierd though. I've been playing the MP beta, and at first i found that way too fast paced, the weapons far to inaccurate and the whole gameplay too confusing... but i like it now. The demo plays a lot like it, and yet seems harder then the MP to me at times... odd.
