same reason people bought a fileplanet subscription to get a beta key.

and no, i have no idea what that reason is.

"go to the install directory 2 Bin folders open the one you need 32 bit or 64 bit then click on crysis32.exe or crysis54.exe the game will start."

and u have no cd's and can only download the content in the first 6 months unless u pay an extra £2.99

Correct, and once downloaded, the files go on an SAS RAID1 array on a server backed up nightly to LTO3 tapes. I don't want worthless CDs or game boxes that'll never be used or looked at again to clutter up my home, so this is a perfect solution for me.

zomgwtfbbq are you saying its 27th now

I don't understand why people are using very high. It has already been said that the game will scale two years ahead.

Yeah, the settings of which aren't even enabled in the game yet, there's patches coming out for that stuff. Very high is supposed to be working on current hardware tbh.

Well i preordered it and from what i can see theyve released a broken demo. Every single time i do the halo jump and drop into the water the game locks up. I launch the sandbox editor and find my spawn point, as soon as i kill the first enemy the editor closes. Can't launch the 32 bit version of the demo, anytime i do i get told to log into ea dload manager to verify ownership, even when i am logged in.

Clearly an amazing demo, hopefully the full game lives upto this standard.

Stick your code in there and log in, works fine then, http://www.ea.com/ealink/

Getting around 22-28fps at 1280x1024 everything very high, 4xAA 8xAF. Surprising how smooth it is though when in the higher 20s

Thats with 8800GTX, E6600 at 3Ghz, 4gb ram

EDIT: And with everything on high I get around 10fps more. Meaning around high 30s. Wonder what these nvidia drivers will bring :)
