i ran it on all medium @1680x1050 with a C2D 2GB RAM and an 8800GTX 320mb, although i hear the card can perform better. why not try some of the tweaks?

Managed to get sunrays using an AGP card, albeit a 512mb one lol

Anyone getting problems whilst playing the demo like flickering screen and periods of intense lag for about 4 sec at a time ? are these just symptoms of drivers problems ?

Is there a way of turning on sun rays with the settings i was using? (in game settings, all high, medium objects, medium shadows, medium shaders, medium sound and low post processing (xp dx9)

in the autoexec.cfg put

r_sunshafts 1

Yes copy and paste sunbeams line from veryhigh (4) in the postprocessing.cfg into low(1)

Put them in a notepad file and save them as "autoexec.cfg" in the Crysis root folder. Should work!

Just the plain standard folder, Electronic Arts/Crysis or whatever something like that.

You could open the console in-game and enter r_sunshafts 1. I thought, if used in a .cfg file, it has to be typed as r_sunshafts=1?
