Joking apart , all the plants & trees in the game are not fantasy but the developers used researchers to gather info of all the likely plants found on such an island & then faithfully reproduce them ( minus coconuts)

well, it's not the most common of palms, infact in america there is only two places it can grow properly, florida keys and hawaii

The coconut palm tree grows in hot areas. It likes frost free areas, and grows in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific region. The tree grows near seas in these areas so the roots can find moisture. In the United States it is found only in Hawaii, the Southern tip of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Not trying to be a smartarse, just telling it as it is, the tree is dead common in the pacific islands area

with all the customization that can be done, surely cant people in multiplayer turn off all vegitation effects and everything, making it a whole load easier to see people. Especially in/when dense jungle maps are created for MP

yep, but it would make it very unfair. There should be set vegitation servers i think so its fair on all players
