Official Crysis Demo thread

I keep getting lost lol, when you see the green marker on the map for your next waypoint & head off in that direction you quickly find you come up against a cliff where you can't get up so you have to find the correct way which can be the oposite direction to start off with, I spent over an hour trying to find the excavation site after I got lost & crossed the river & back 3 times. :p
Needless to say I work from home & I haven't done a tap today as I can't stop playing this fantastic game:D

I know what you mean about getting lost. The map is so big there are so many different ways of going about things. Like on one level where you need to travel quite a way to an extraction point you can go by boat or by car and pass by all the little outposts. I haven't enjoyed a game this much since FarCry and i think i'm enjoying Crysis even more. I <3 Crytek.

102 pages.... WTF..... It would be hard to find my answers....

1) The performance over the Demo on x64bits ???
2) 169.09 drivers over 169.04 ???
3) How long in term of hours is the game (in Normal mode)

anybody??

I Havent play the full game because It took about 1 week to arrive to my country from amazon... but tomorrow is D-day... So I want to know which is best for my performance.... on the machine in the signature...

Its about 8-12 hours in normal.
I've spent about 20 hours playing this so far. I've just gone into the mine/cave. I'm totally hooked. It's bloody awesome. But I might start again on HARD because it's getting a bit to easy now the way I'm playing (Stealthing into areas with cloak & taking enemies out 1 at a time).

I move from cover to cover, charging up energy whilst out of site. It's quite a rewarding way to clear an area of enemies. More so than 'rambo-ing' in guns blazing.

Just got to the alien interior bit. Graphically stunning but the aliens are kind of tedious to fight against.

Pretty new to the demo, i am impressed ofcourse i am. However, the shooting seems rather inaccurate! I get the red dot on an enemy soldier's head, fire and always seems to be pot luck if it hits or not!

Zombie! :D

The multiplayer beta test is long gone and there was no official multiplayer demo just singleplayer unfortunately.

The multiplayer wasnt that great or crysis would have been a lot more popular.
Just playing bad company now and I see a lot of crysis nextgen type features in there all working fine on 7 series technology and it plays a lot better though neither game was complicated so I dont know how they screwed it up tbh
