I cant even run it on high at 40+fps (i dont consider anything below 40 as acceptable personally) even on a borrowed GTX
I have to agree with him, i would expect it to be played on high settings on current hardware. Ultra high is another story though as you rightly say, but the engine seems to be downright poor performance wise
Vista and 2gb of ram and it is still grayed out.I think you need Vista (DX10)

20-30fps in xp are pretty smooth......for some reason it just doesnt feel as smooth in vista.
i wouldnt normally want to play a shooter with less than 50fps but in crysis i cant tell its so low unless i use software to display the fps.
have you tried it in xp ?
All you people who are saying HL2 has better models have some serious eyeball issues. Where are your screenshots to prove it as well? There are none because it is simply not true.

BS, Its a matter of opinions and your screenshots do not show up any game as real.

I prefer the peeps in HL2 not enviro and thats my choice, and as nice as Crysis looks in places its not worth the FPS kick in the teeth over HL2.
So LOL yourself.
O M G you dint just say that!I don't see the point in being a slave to an arbitrary FPS count. Reduce the settings untill you get an acceptable level of performance, and I'll bet that it still looks better than HL2.
