Even personnel carriers like BMP2 can shoot down maneuvering planes from around 1.5km, so Huey cant do much against the likes of them. Ka50 on the other hand can dominate Shilkas, Tunguskas, tanks, BMPs, etc etc etc. I do love the Huey myself, but Ka50 is a helicopter that is on a different level in every way. Much faster (nearly twice?) and more powerful too :)

Huey will get much more interesting once we get proper animations and functions for troop carrying though (EDGE where are you?:))

PS Mirage is also joining the DCS stable:

Obviously you're confused fellow. I did not say they won't honour the promise, just hinted that the date for delivery has been continuously moved.

Most people who bought A10 have probably completely forgot about what was promised on Pre Order of the game. And the hilarious fact that anyone who questioned it, or moaned on the ED forums got immediately banned and silenced with posts deleted. We're not talking 3 months late here, we're talking what, 4-5 years? That is no longer late delivery, it's bordering on false advertisement as there was no way it could have been delivered in the initial timeline. But because it's a Russian company, and don't play by the rules... people sit quiet.

I didn't buy the A-10C until a couple of years back so the free Nevada does not concern me anyway:)

I've preoredered it yesterday though, roll on November:) Say what you want, but it does take the feel of flight to the next level. Lots of detail, fast and fluid - I dont think this is matched in any other flight sim or flight game out there. FSX Orbx would chug along at 15fps with this kind of scenery density and flight speed.

 
Purchased the x55 a few months back.... Think I'll have to get this on the download again and spend 5hours relearning how to start the blasted things! :p



Last time I tried, during the apu/aux power switching I got distracted by teamspeak.... When I got back to my list and hit the next button on the list my right engine exploded xD not really sure why but it did make me jump and then laugh :p

Plus I'll get to see it with the 980ti's...... And then my new x99 system I'll have built soon :D better get buttery smooth fps!!!! :)
