VEAO devs are still pretty active on ED forums:
Also don't they have to wait for ED to release a DCS patch for their fixes to be included? I'm getting the feeling there wont be any more DCS patches until either someone finishes another module or they release 2.0 (yeah, i know...)
The EFM is still being developed. We have a base EFM and I posted a video recently of the ground handling demonstration.
Once some more tweaks have been made we will pass it to three real life Hawk pilots who will sign off the flight model. It then goes to ED for evaluation.
Although there are many concurrent projects running, we have over 35 people on the team now working on different aircraft so Hawk is not on the backburner or been forgotten. Work is ongoing on it. Bugs are being fixed waiting for the next patch release.
I do post updates on our Facebook page and in the Eye Candy or development threads so maybe you missed what I've typed above.
Hawk will never be certified AFM as this is ED's term for their own flight models. Hawk will be EFM (External FM, I.e. 3rd Party Developer).
Our EFM currently has an alpha status, that being worked on and tested by our internal team. It will then go to our internal testing team in beta stage and then on to public beta.
Like I said, with three Hawk pilot sign off's on the flight model, by the time it gets to you it will fly like a real Hawk, within DCS of course
Thanks,
Chris.
