ok so just done the first boss and back to base. my thoughts so far:

great game , atmosphere is awesome and it does really well in making you not kill things! havent fired a single lethal shot yet :) the boss wasnt as bad as the reviews are making it, maybe it gets worse? dunno but tbh it was a nice little break for the main gameplay.
just tazered him to death ahah.,

so yeh fab so far...looking forward to the next levels.

The third boss irritated me a lot as I only had a machine pistol. 2nd was uber easy with Typhoon, although it just made be feel bad ass, it didn't feel OP :p

the first boss fight can be won in about 8 seconds flat, take cover behind the wall in front of you and throw 3 grenades and 2 mines JOB DONE :D

Also enjoy the rest of the game and take your time to read everything you find, some quite interesting stuff in there.

Eventually got around to completing it last night after a large Space Marine shaped diversion. I can see why people come out of the game so flat, the ending really is very poor indeed. Such a shame as it really brought the whole game down. 80% overall for me. First half epic, second half subject to the law of diminshing returns, ending rushed and very poor for it.

That does not indicate a 'mem leak'.

surely it does? why dont you be helpful and suggest what it could be then ?

and dont say cpu or gpu issues or anything directed at my pc - bc i can play the witcher 2 on frigging ultra at close to 60fps with NO fps drop and deus ex 2 is nowhere near as demanding as that game.
no doubt an issue of their **** poor game code.

Herp derp, I have an issue with the game I know nothing about, let's blame it on the game code!

what are you 10? the last 2 deus exs were notorious for leaks....
anyway it was a question i would have liked an answer too, instead of got a bunch of childish reactions that dont help at all.

why bother commenting if you have nothing to say? its the most pointless excerise in the world ... take your herpies elsewhere thanks.

have you ever programmed a game? do you know anything about real-time operations? the first 2 games are old enough to not draw a comparison.

what evidence do you have to suggest a memory leak?

If there were a memory leak, then memory usage would spiral. Which it doesn't... Besides, a memory leak would lead first to severe paging (as the swapfile is used instead of memory), and finally a complete crash. It wouldn't lead to a sudden and consistent drop in framerate.

In short, it isn't a memory leak. Check what framerate you get without vsync: if it's between 30 and 60fps, then there is no issue other than a lack of GPU power.
