well tbh if it doesnt change the story much I wont bother.

I was gonna load an old save.

However I cant find this gpl thing for the life off me. I am inside the car park harvester gang area and every time I go to the ''M2''indicator it changes wtf.

its like 25m to ''m2'...so I follow it to 3m distance or whatever then all off a sudden it changes to 45m. so I go up stairs, down stairs...I swear the location indicator keeps moving.

I have no clue were it is?

spoliers::::

ALso what happens if you dont get the new chip? should I get it?

ALSO WHEN THE HECK DO I GET TRACER TONGS EXPLOSIVE MISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: locator moving: It's hand-holding you by telling you the path to take (or at least one of them). It gets you into the right area, then the right building, and so on.

The Tracer Tong mission is the second time you enter Heng-Sha. Do the two side quests before you start the main mission here, as it's a bit of a pain to get back and finish stuff off.

I'm doing a no kills walkthrough, and I've been checking each body to make sure they're unconscious.

Down in the sewers near derelict row I took down three gang bangers (two with takedown and one with tranq). When I took them down they were all unconscious (zzz), and safely positioned (not in the water, or otherwise near to anything dangerous).

When I came back through that section an hour or so later, while doing the main quest mission, I noticed that all three of them were dead  [skulls not 'zzz']. So, I guess I won't be able to get pacifist this time around... I haven't seen anyone die due to the tranq gun yet though....

... Just a follow up.

I finished the game and I got the Pacifist and Foxiest of Hounds achievements. So, if anyone else comes across this bug, well I wouldn't worry too much. Also, during the final battle, a few guards got electrocuted by the floor and it wasn't a problem.

Well yes if you've fallen for the 'trap' then nothing will work and the fight can be incredibly difficult. Especially if you don't have grenades or mines.

This fight is incredibly easy actually :P back in the tunnel about 2 minutes back you can hack a turret to your side... pick it up and carry it along into the elevator - carry it out with you at the top and after the cutscene it will engage the boss while you make yourself scarce :D

Anyone else think this game is a bit guff?! Possible spoilers...

For starters, why do we even need a tutorial in an RPG = / Just feels dumb.

I haven't played the original in some time... But I swear the first mission is pretty much exactly the same?! Rescue some hostage and take out the main guy. Then you get whisked off to china... Which involves a nightclub, surely they could've though of something new?!

Also. Other little things annoy me;

- The graphics are way too inconsistent, the cars/shop windows/guns are terrible.
- EVERY computer and hacking terminal look the same, which just gets repetitive.
- Nothing in the world breaks... Glass, monitors.
- The augmentations are way too OP early on.
- Did anyone noticed that none of the escalators work?

Maybe I'm being too picky, but I can't help feel disappointed.

Edit- At least they allow you to turn off flashing objects -.-

Just finished this last night and what can i say an awesome game.

now to play again do you think it's easy enough to go for pacifist, foxiest of the hounds , legend, oppurtunist , consciousnous is over rated , decorate + a bunch of side missions i missed in one playthrough or should i do the pacifist and foxiest of the hounds on easy.

I'm sad to say this, but I've partially lost interest partway through Hengsha - not really very motivated to continue with it. :(

Keep stealthing past people, hacking computers, gaining praxis and completing quests. I'm not even sure where the plot is going at the moment.

The depth and atmosphere of the environments are fantastic, but the moodiness/lighting, the repetitive nature, and the whole premise of the game becomes a bit depressing after a while.

If you're doing a proper stealth playthrough, then the difficulty level doesn't really matter too much - you will be getting through most sectors without taking any damage anyway. Just put praxis points into more stealth-oriented upgrades, and make sure you're prepared for the bosses (grenades, or typhoon etc).

I think you're playing this game for the wrong reasons. It's a game for story tbh.

The first one had one and tbh it's useful for gamers/noobs who've never played this type of game before.

True the 1st mission is a bit samey however Hengsha's story greatly differs from Singapores in the 1st game besides the fact that both are in China there isn't really any similarity.

Only an issue if you're really into tearing apart the development of the game tbh I wasn't that fussed.

- EVERY computer and hacking terminal look the same, which just gets repetitive.

And it's not the same for any other game where you've had a hacking option say Fallout 3, New Vegas or Mass Effect 1 & 2 for example.

- Nothing in the world breaks... Glass, monitors.

True I find the background being indestructable rather annoying.
- The augmentations are way too OP early on.

If by OP you mean over priced thats the whole point it's to make you pick and choose a prefered method of gameplay say you want to stealth it you go for the stealth options and worry about any others you want later

- Did anyone noticed that none of the escalators work?

They didn't work in the 1st two either!
