Okay, i didn't kill Zeke early on in the game. Later he sets up a praxis trap (yes i fell for it) but when you kill him you have to get to the other side of the wall which is impossible. It isn't a destructible wall.

Help please?

IIRC there are three options:

1. There's a switch obscured behind some boxes that will open a "secret wall".

2. You can punch through a section of the wall.

3. You can take an alternate route to avoid the room entirely.

Can confirm these from what I recall. Surprised you missed all 3 op :)

i've managed to find one source of stuttering.

Sometimes when playing and going into a new area powerplay seems to kick in and my 3d clocks go down to 400 mhz from 765mhz

it's worth checking this with afterburner while playing and see if you get the same problem. TBH i'm getting more problems post patch than i did pre-patch

Sounds like the usual video card downclocking issues when the driver gets confused about whether it's in desktop or gaming mode. More commonly seen with AMD drivers of late.

Completed it, the end level was pretty meh but the endings were good. Shame it's all for nought as the world of Deus Ex (the original) will follow whatever your choices.

Got the foxiest of the hounds achievement but didn't get the pacifist one, despite making sure that I didn't kill anyone. Ho hum.

Have I borked my game? (Possible slight spoilers).

I have managed to reach the second stage of the game where you go to China and arrived at the section where you need to locate a guy being held by a nightclub owner. The guy is off limits at first but seem to be two ways of reaching him. One is to pass a speech check with the bartender in the VIP lounge, the other is to do a retrieval mission for the public bar steward. I failed the speech test in the VIP bar and was a little too heavy handed on the "Q" key in the retrieval mission, killing the mark rather than rendering unconscious. So the public steward refuses to speak with me. The yellow "x" on the HUD indicating the objective has vanished. I managed to kill all the guards in the club and access the basement but no sign of Tong or the guy he is holding.

Is there any way of getting the campaign back on track or have I created a non recoverable situation?

Thanks. Was able to find the brittle wall section behind the boxes soon after I posted.

Next problem is finding Taggart before going to shut down the signal. Annoying that there is no marker, it was pretty much pure luck that I found Sarif (actually went to the machine room to find Taggart). I can carry on without it, but I want that ending.

edit:

found them

It does seem to be running better for me. I've just loaded it in an area where the stuttering made me rage quit last time I played and now it's smooth.

Herp derp, I have an issue with the game I know nothing about, let's blame it on the game code!

Herp derp, issues with the game have been widely reported.
