and if your doing stealth you shouldnt be putting points into typhoon, or aiming or damage reduction which is an example of character build being different immediately.

However as the game is effectively two different games - stealthly parts and then fight to the death boss parts, even a stealth player could want Typhoon purely for the bosses.

All the bosses were really easy for me. I pretty much always had a maxxed out 9mm and so it was just a case of taking cover and headshotting them loads of times. EMP and Gas grenades came in very useful useful. I think the EMP and Gas grenades are overpowered in the game. Makes bosses really easy.

By that point with Augs the third boss is trivial. You have that much at your disposal that you can just take your time with him. I killed him on my zero combat run by jumping up and down (with high jump) which let me throw grenades/mines and burst fire my target seeking combat rifle at him over the walls and he couldn't surprise me because I'd EMP'd him already to remove his cloak so I could stick a Mark and Track arrow on his head.

Without augs, the boss is a nightmare. Your vision is constantly distracting you. He's always cloaked so you can't be sure where he is until he's started firing and you can't be sure about your own health either. Dropping Mines may result in you running into them if he doesn't come from the right place and your weapons will be difficult to use without recoil/stabiliser, especially when you can't be sure of your targets location.

I can confirm that the third boss is very difficult on a pure stealth build if you were an idiot and took the limb upgrade (like me). Typhoon would have been bloody useful for him.

he is tough i agree (i took the upgrade) though corner camping soon solves that problem and after about 10 attempts and a few saves later he was pretty easy.

the laser rifle in the draw helps a lot too.

Oh ok, what did the biochip upgrade to? Disable all Augs?

As soon as it was offered, I realised something dodgy was happening. I assumed that it wouldn't make a difference because later we find out the control signal wasn't actually gonna work.

The screwed up vision hurts far more than the lack of augs. No HUD information at all because its all rebooting and visual flickering. Its almost impossible to tell where a cloaked enemy is until he's already shot you

Its doable, I did it first time with my machine pistol, but it is tricky. Requires you to constantnly move around. I found he stayed in the middle most of the time, so that made it easier just to get a shot or two off every so often.

Yeah I've just fiished and can honestly say that fight with namir was a pain in the backside.

!!SPOILERS!!

I knew getting the biochip would be a problem, but decided to go along with it anyway - I didn't realise it would be that much of a problem. After many attempts, managed to finally throw everything at him (laser rifle, heavy rifle, mines, grenades, and a pistol), running around the outer edge of the room and firing down the long section. Had to finish with a silenced pistol.

The other bosses were laughably easy in comparison - stun gun the first two to death (with maybe a few grenades/mines), and just lase/shoot Zhao at the end.

Aside from that, took me around 36 hours on GMDE - managed to get foxiest, pacifist and good soul together with most of the others. Missed out on doctorate, gun nut and a handful of hidden achievements.

And yeah, you get way too many praxis points - had loads to spare on stuff I didn't need.
I upgraded the typhoon for the sake of it, but never actually used it, despite hoarding ammo - had loads of it by the end of the game.

All in all I think it was a very good game. :)
I got a bit put off halfway through Hengsha part 1 unfortunately - it just got a bit monotonous and depressing, but I feel the game picks up when you go to Picus.
And the endings - I actually thought they were pretty good. Yes I agree Singapore/Panchaea and the latter stages of the game felt a bit simplified/rushed compared to the earlier stages, but apart from that I enjoyed it.
And the ending cutscene(s) are alse well done, and quite poignant.

I do agree with one thing though - too much hacking! :p That minigame...

All bosses are easy for me. The 3rd one is the easiest by far, this is how i killed him.
Run around the corner (to your immediate left), turn around throw a frag grenade, hits him and he's stunned out of cloak, run at him with shotgun and pump 2 shots (with the special attachement thing) into his face. Done.... so fricking stupidly easy.

All I was carrying was the pistol and the stun gun, albeit the former was very highly upgraded. The problem with Namir is that firstly he's cloaked but secondly he tosses nades like they're going out of fashion and if (like me) you had no armour, shooting or breathing upgrades that means he can kill you very quickly.

As others have said he stays in the middle so I found the only viable strategy was to run to one of the ends of the divide wall in the middle and wait for him to uncloak, then jump into cover and get about 5-6 shots off (into his head if possible) then leg it before the nades he's tossed blow. You have to pull that off 6-7 times over on hard before he goes down and it can go wrong very easily (one grenade of any kind and you're toast).

Did you use the tranquiliser gun at all (that was bugged originally and did actually kill some people)? And for Foxiest - what actually affects that? If a turret/camera sees you (when they say suspicious) have you failed it?

Someone has to trigger an alarm and not every level/area has one which makes it awkward to figure out. There tends to be flashing lights or a siren. Generally I think the way to be sure is, if everyone around you becomes alarmed and you didn't fire a loud weapon then you've probably set one off. Camera's might trigger an alarm if they go beyond 'Suspicious' but its difficult to say. There shouldn't be any reason you'd actually get spotted by one anyway. Turrets don't seem to mind about spotting you at all, not sure about Robots. You probably want to avoid it either way.

Only dodgy part I really found was the hanger bay in TYM. Given that the alarms are sounding already. The robots seem capable of spotting you if you're close to 1 of them when you EMP another. Luckily it doesn't take long to reach the end and see if you got the Smooth Operator bonus, but your best option is probably to just shut them down.
