They usually are pap. I don't care if it's on consoles as long as it has been made properly on PC.

You can't say ALL console ports are rubbish. But it seems to have been developed properly on the PC.
And what exactly is so bad about the console ports? Are you talking performance wise? Or what exactly?
Potentially but usually that traffic between you and steam would be encrypted and generally traffic over a VPN is encrypted to.
NOwith VyPRVPN all that changes is your ip address
basically they have a server, your real ip its that server say in the USA and it bounces a new ip address out to the web
Most commonly with VPNs all your traffic will go through their servers and then back out so they could potentially monitor it. There are services that can perform middleman handshaking between 2 end points and then hand off the session and traffic would flow direct but you'd need both ends to be using tunnelling software and thats not very usual with most sites on the internet - off the top of my head hamachi is the only thing that works like this and both end points need to be using the hamachi client.

There is all diffrent kinds of VPN some are more protected than others.
if you get your VPN though Giganews you are protected with SSL encryption when downloading or changing ip with VPN.

Im not sure, never heard of hamachi, though i do know giganews`s VYPRVPN is protection with 128bit SSL encryption and i dont think games companys would even both trying to hash/crack it lol.
