God, I'm such an idiot. Been hacking terminals with cameras, and not thinking about being able to switch them off...I thought pressing the little camera screen only froze where it looked. But it switched it off entirely!

Activate the game on Steam and you can Pre-Load it, then if you want to risk it you can use a VPN to unlock it early.

That does sound odd. Tranq Darts are 1 hit KO's on just about everything but MJ12 Commando's and MiBs. Darts do have a fairly short range and the stealth pistol does less damage than the regular 1. Main issue is probably just the spread. Its quite easy to shoot someone in the back of the head and for them to survive because it hit the arm or torso instead. Its why I tend to put Pistol on Advanced straight away and use all upgrades on it. Faster it gets to max accuracy the better.

Noticing a few differences from the leak, not much.. still early days, no hacking tools so far and had so many, unless they removed it from the hardest difficulty.

on deus ex one (i assume that's what you talking about) if you put the laser sight on any weapon it becomes 100% accurate and will always hit the laser dot no matter what.

Its only cause of steam back in the day if I got a game early a few days even a console game I could play it so I assumed the same.


I wont let me install so I still have to install it...Guess it means I can install on friday at 00:00am...well thats cool my room is clean and ready lol
 
My colleague kindly set me up with a US proxy just to use for Deus Ex.

It also automatically strips typical proxy headers so they won't know it is forwarding from the uk.

It'll only be up for today so PM me if you need to use it

I have added the laser sight to the crossbow so i'm certainly accurate, but a headshot doesn't seem to do much really. I wouldn't be suprised if there was some kind of bug, as i've had quite a few trying to get it to work.

I still reckon they could release this game today and it would be well recieved, it's only the AI that needs improving really and maybe a slight upgrade on the shooting mechanics.

You CAN install it as long as you don't mind downloading it from Steam rather than install off the DVD, just activate the code you got on the slip of paper on Steam and download the game.
