*****Official Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution discussion thread*****

The amount of areas and insane money you can make from hacking into places is amazing! Some really cool places you need level 4/5 hacks to get into. And safes to crack inside the areas with credits ;)

You need to connect to a different server with a VPN. Which has a username and password, but nothing related to your Windows logon... You will need to find a US VPN provider somewhere. And then take said details.

I'm starting to think people don't know how they work...

Unlocked via vpn last night, very good so far.

Used freevpn.co then followed the instructions for win7

Nah still doesn't work. On a US VPN, Download location set to New york.

Hmm very weird.

Because everyone knows everything about anything

If you people talking about using the VPN trick, I would at least expect them to know what a VPN is...

take it you gotta pay for a VPN then?

There are some free ones available. I used FreeVPN as my I haven't paid for my normal VPN yet this month

On a game related note, I now have 4 praxis kits, and still no idea what I want to upgrade :(

Well that was painless. VPN setup within two minutes, logged in to steam, clicked play, let it defrag (cus it asked to!) and then restarted in offline mode.

Didn't change my download location either.

Time to play!

Random question but how is the soundtrack on this? Just heard this song and it's one of the most epic songs i've heard in a while:

Well, I died for the first time and my whole PC froze up with a really annoying buzzing noise... if that is what happens when you pick hard difficulty and die then I better not die again :(

Yeah, I really like the soundtrack on it :D Really sweet. It's not all epic like that track, as in big epic. If you know what I mean. But it works really well for the game. It's not annoying at all.

Hmm, your drivers all up to date Davola? Not had any issues when dying with crashes.

Eidos Montreal game director Jean-Francois Dugas admits to problems with the AI in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, in speaking with Play magazine about the action/RPG sequel that was released yesterday in North America. "I'd be lying if I said the AI meets all of our expectations but I think it's normal that every developer has something they'd like to do differently," he said. "That being said, when you look at the type of game we're making, where stealth and combat need to cohabit as naturally as possible, I think overall gamers will be satisfied with what we did. It's not perfect but it makes for interesting gameplay situations.
