Tried that and no different. I tried in both slots 1 and 2 but same happened.

Anything need changing in the BIOS?

Hmm :/

Try upping the memory voltage - seems that's fixed some problems for others. It's on 2.6v as standard - you could try upping it to 2.8v.

Ricco, just out of curiosity, how do you get to that bios from the DFI site, as the one the link to mainly is the 125 one. Do you have to get it off the beta server? Where did you get Winfalsh from originally?

Just wondering, like to know these things for the future, cheers.

haha :D

When I get my DFI NF4 shall be fitting a window with some sort of UV light, what would be the cheapest and simpliest lighting solution to show off the DFI UV mobo?

UV and case mods etc. don't interest me tbh... I've got a case window on my case (comes with the vapochill XEII as standard), but my computer is kind of out of the way anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Besides, if I wanted to show off the case, I'd have to sort out the nightmare of wires I've got in there!

Brum,

I got the winflash from the DFI site, and also the Beta bios too - i hosted it (winflash) purely as I could'nt find it again. Do you think they pulled it ?

TBH I have no idea. I might have been look in a different place to you. I was looking here, which is the 125 bios. I can't find he 201 bios, even tried the Taiwain site.

Although I am sometimes not very good at finding things so excuse me if I missed something very obvious! :)

Cheers.

hi guy's
im having some problems setting up a router/modem with my ultra-d, the hardware firewall was stoping me getting to my router settings so I uninstalled it and now im into the settings I cant seem to get connected.
any ideas?

I seem to recall reading that you have to enter the mac address of the Nvidia one. (in some cases)

I can see how you do that in the BIOS for the Nvidia one, but no idea on the other.

Not really impressed with what I have read so far on this board, as having to do that is stupid.
I can just imagine your average Joe trying to figure that out.

O'h and this is where I think they are. Note the two white stickers on the USB/ LAN ports here.
Prolly contain 12 digits.

after installing all the network drivers, my internet worked fine.

I installed the sound (yes, sound...) drivers and rebooted, and I couldn't get an internet connection.

Tried everything I could think of to no avail. I just thought **** it, and reinstalled windows, since I'd only had it installed about an hour anyway. I disabled both onboard LANs and am using my old PCI network card now.
