Now we are getting somewhere! 290x9 memtest test 8 15 passes no errors 
But MOH crashed, so I think 2610mhz is too much for the processor :/

Just got my DFI mobo and have to say im very pleased with it. Now to get some clocking done to see what this chip can do !

funnily enough my memory can run to 229mhz now whereas before in my old A8V i was stuck at 210mhz. how weird is that? i thought the onboard CPU memory controller did all that? obviously the mobo still has an effect on the memory controller?

i used it to knock the northbridge to 4400rpm and its loads quieter now!!! it was only at about 5000rpm before so 600 rpm is a little less for a lot less noise.

Errm I think the Venices will work out of the box but the San Diagos dont AFAIK, I may be wrong!

According that that DFI-street site..San Diego's work on the BIOS from 25th of Jan 05. So they should work on the newer boards with the newer BIOS installed
