Official DFI NF4Ultra-D/SLi owners thread.

Nope tried 414-3 same problem.

220x10 with 166 divider reboots at IRQ,
210x11 with 166 divider reboots at IRQ.
210x10 with 1:1 reboots at IRQ.

201x11 is fine with 1.40V CPU and 2.7V mem @ 2.5-3-3-7

WTH is wrong here :(

edit: tried booting at 210x10 with optimised settings and again reboot at IRQ :(

How many volts [timko] for 305. I'm trying to get mine up there. I will point a fan on the ram (80mm) as well as the PWM IC. Also, did you adjust settings other than the main 4?

I'm on 2.7v vDimm. Remember, TCCD only needs a max of 2.9v to 3.0v so there's no need to go beyond 3.0v. In order to get anywhere near 300Mhz you must start getting your hands dirty and mess with more than just the basic 4 timings.

Get an idea of settings from these amazing results...

This guide is for G.Skill TCCD but it works for all TCCD based RAM...

I've also got some Patriot XBLK TCCD RAM that I've not yet tested in this rig but may do so over the weekend :)

So that was the setting your forgot to lower? You muppet :D

Remember to always keep the overall result to 1000 or less.

HTT x HTT Multi = Result

Having said that, I've read the some users can still remain stable with a 4x despite their HTT being near the 300s :o

Yeh I can too, I have an issue as have a few others with 4x and higher HHTs mulis at more than 205 FSB :( with a SD

Edit: 2.42Ghz stock Volts :D

Thanks. I'll give it a go. I don't need to right this second as I'm using the 11x multi and priming at 2.75ghz, but when the chip starts failing on 11x, I'll drop to 10x.

hey my friend is wondering about one of these boards,
all he wanna know is, can he use one stick of "Crucial DDR PC2700 512mb CAS2.5" in the first or second ram slot, and will it boot with that? or does it have to be super dual dooper memory (two sticks minimum)? (because he wants to choose+buy better ram later..)

because he already has this ram with his P4 +478 Board, and doesnt want to buy new ram just yet

Hey guys,

I've posted this over at DFI Street, but I though I'd see if anyone else has had this probem:

Windows 2000 - 324 HTT (140 div) = 224 Mhz memory

Windows XP - 270 (166 div) = 221 Mhz Memory

Basically, I can't get above 270 HTT in Windows XP with the SAME settings I used in 2k?

EDIT - Only using 2x LDT too

OK, been trying LOADS of timing options in Genie.

Only thing which has fixed it is dropping the CPU multi to 8x

Maybe it's more of a CPU issue than HTT?

Weird, 'cos it was fine upto 2.9 Ghz in Win2k....

Finally got 2.5-3-3-6 @ 280FSB :D but its with 2.9V would that be okey for long term use with TCCD? It has a fan over it and a Xp-120 with 120mm.

Concorde

yes that will be fine, only worry once you are using 3v or 3.1v (max id say for 24/7)

Well, tried for the 280x10, this is whats happebed:

275x10 - 1.425V - 32mb done
280x10 - 1.425V - Rounding error
280x10 - 1.45V - Error
280x10 - 1.475V - Shut down.

I am going to leave it at 275x9 for the moment, later on this week + when its nice a cold in here I will use a 11 multi to go for the max :D
